For those who do not know me, I am a medical professional with formal training at a prestigious mid-west college. I have practiced in public hospitals and SCIF's. I have trained U.S military and alphabet agencies. My ATS op on Ebola can be found here; www.abovetopsecret.com...
I have even provided some of the mods with names and places, of a purposely unannounced Ebola infection in New Mexico that happened back during the Obama Administration.
I have worked with a CDC U.S. Public Health Service Commander in Infectious Diseases during the Zika transmission and death, in Utah. I have since been unable to locate this Commander in The PHS.
For my peers here on ATS, please review my op: www.abovetopsecret.com...

Just found this from Feb 4. Not sure if it's been posted yet, nor am I a TCM or herbal specialist, but I'm sure someone else in here can speak to this:

www.bioworld.com... /articles/432838-coronavirus-chinese-researchers-claim-tcm-herbal-remedy-could-inhibit-2019-ncov

"On Jan. 31, China’s state press Xinhua published an article that claims that the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM, under the Chinese Academy of Sciences) and the Wuhan Institute of Virology had discovered that the Shuanghuanglian oral liquid could be used to "inhibit" the 2019-nCoV."

"Made from a blend of honeysuckle, Chinese skullcap and forsythia, shuanghuanglian is believed to be antiviral, antibacterial and good for the immune system; thus, it is often used to relieve symptoms such as fever, cough and sore throat."

"In another article on Feb. 3, Xinhua said that eight patients infected with the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) had been “cured by TCM or a combination of TCM and Western medicine in Jinyintan Hospital in Wuhan, epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak.” It goes on to say that this is the first batch of patients, of whom six were in critical condition, cured by such treatment."

While those numbers might be accurate, China gains no benefit for being accurate. They gain more by keeping it stagnant and the numbers low. I have a feeling they have gone down, because their containment efforts have gone up. But I still think the numbers are much higher than anyone knows. Their actions speak a lot louder than words.

Heres some info I hadnt run across before.. discusses deception by china and timing and etc.

www.vox.com...

This article is very interesting. The expert interviewed seems to say he doesn’t think the Chinese leadership really knew how bad the situation was until January 16th and they sent a SARS expert to assess the situation who arrived in Wuhan on January 18th. He thinks the advice for a massive quarantine of the city/region came from this expert. That’s extraordinary if true, because I - a member of the general public in a far away country - knew about it on January 23rd when I saw the quarantine news on the BBC website.

It seems the local authorities tried to hide the severity of the situation - that sustained human to human spread was happening. Of course this persons assessment may be wrong. But it explains the sudden, overwhelming, draconian response to try to stop the spread.

Chart includes total report, Hubei and the Rest of China.

I'm having you for breakfast doomsayers.

Tomorrow we go below 10% in daily increase, but yeah this is definitely an unprecedented parabolic increase.

No you won’t 100% certain lol

Not enough tester kits or hospital beds to rely on those figures

*yawn* I know, next month there won't be any increase = 0% because they will have used all the testkits and equipment on Earth so we won't be able to rely on those figures... and in case there is enough of everything, then CCP is lying. Right?

I think your statement is accurate.
Right now , the cruise liner Diamond Princess has removed 2 groups in 10 off the ship. I believe there is a reason for that and also the ship is at a different location with the 2nd group that was moved.

I actually just saw an interview on the news with one of the American couples stuck on that cruise... Then realized, holy crap, that's one of my closest friends best friend. Her and her husband are stuck on the ship, trying their best to beg the US government to get them off. I have been now seeing my friend also sharing the news story everywhere, as she is worried about her friend and the conditions on the ship.

I can't even imagine being stuck on a cruise ship in a single room for two weeks.

Yup, That’s a nightmare. Terrible sittuation to be in. The US government can’t help them though, I mean technically it’s possible but it would be immensely expensive so unless they are senators or someone “important” there is no way to help them at the moment.

This is the situation I'm watching. Forget anything to do with the CCP numbers - God only knows what they really are, good or bad.

This is going to be our real petri dish right here.

Can you call your friend to call them and ask questions about the situation within the ship?
Like some insider info, rumours they heard ...it’s thousands of passengers, there must be something, then you could share it with us.

I've done far worse but if I were stuck on that ship in confined space my concern would be the air circulation. Everybody is likely to get sick.

There is real data that is being shared with those that need it. Among this data is the following:

15% fatality rate
Incubation up to 14 days
Virus can live on metal surfaces up to 21 days in the right conditions
High humidity is very helpful to containing the virus
Artificially created strand of coronavirus
Super Spreaders can be asymptomatic
Probably over 50 cases already in the US

Sorry if this has been asked - I'm finding it hard to catch up :-)

Is it possible that in sending you the design specs, they are specifying worst case scenario to design for?

Wouldn't be good to design for and build a facility, only to discover after the fact that you massively underestimated the actual criteria - by that time it is too late. So my feeling is there would be some fudge factor in there, with the fudge leaning towards worst case.

I'm still on the fence with this one. My early feeling was mortality rate WAY above 2%, and probably leaning towards the 15%-20% (based on initial deaths/recoveries reported).

Now, when I look at the overall stats, the majority of deaths are occurring in Wuhan. There are a few "tinfoil hat" reasons this could be, but if I step away and take a breath, gut feel is the local government just f#cked up, dropped the ball and let it get out of hand. It spread quickly (over the course of 6 weeks or so) before they did anything substantive and by that time the local medical infrastructure just got hammered and couldn't cope - and now has no way of any meaningful recovery - it pretty much is going to have to burn itself out in Hubei.

The tell is going to be the deaths/recoveries across the rest of the country in the coming weeks - and indeed for the rest of the world, I reckon we've still got a good 4 or 5 weeks before we feel the sting (if any).

Just my opinion.

Leighthall.

Yes, me too, but still, it’s a Cruise ship, they are basically quarantined there and can’t get out spreading vírus.
Absolutely Worst case scenario: everyone on the ship got infected, 1-2% of them could die if over 60 or in bad condition.
