Fidel Castro, that benevolent communist dictator, had some good news for Cuban women on International Women's Day: A rice cooker in every home or shanty:

HAVANA (Reuters) - President Fidel Castro gave Cuban women some good news on International Women's Day: rice cookers are coming to every household.

But before we cheer too loudly, the rice cookers are not totally free:

In a five-hour 45-minute speech to cheering women on Tuesday night, the Cuban leader announced 100,000 pressure cookers and rice cookers would be available each month at subsidized prices.

The electric cookers had been banned about a decade ago as an energy saving measure.

Rice cookers

What a touching gesture on Int'l Women's Day, eh?

You're right, dg. The man is as malevolent as the system he represents: communism.

Rice cookers, hey I cook my Spanish rice, or arroz con carne, in a caldero, old fashion way like my mama told me too.

Con pegao, what is the used of a rice cooker if you can not get the botton where the rice is nice and crispy you only get that when you cook in metal pot.

He can stuff the rice cookers where the sun don't shine....

That idiot should be spending his money on feeding the people in Cuba, instead he makes children work in the fields in summer camps to sell all the good harvested food to other countries...

That's what "The people's Revolution" brought to Cuba...

To think that by lifting the " Blokade" of people sending money to Cuba people will not starve shows that you do not what happens to that money.
This money is the only thing keeping that assasin in power.
