I got accepted for a full-time job at an E-Waste Recycling facility in Kumeu,Auckland after doing a one half-day trial then two full-day trials and
the company owner is very happy with the way I work and how I fit in with the other employees.
I'll be starting it as soon as the owner gets all the paperwork filled out and sent to Work and Income NZ(WINZ) for approval because I qualify for
the Mainstream Employment Program that subsidizes part of my wages from the company for a year then I can decide if I want to leave for a different
job or stay on but the employer doesn't get the subsidy if I stay more than a year. So when I start paid work I'll get my own workbench and
work hard and volunteer to help others out, so you can get as much diversity as possible with work. Finding your joy takes time and when you find it,
you will know. But you have to do stuff. Good Luck, and never give up. ever.
Congrats and good for you. Although it may not seem like it at times, in this world and system within which we live full time employment is an
important part of controlling the controllable parts of your destiny.
