It's a sad day for some British MEPs but a jubilant one for others as desks are being cleared and box's filled , Nigel Farage has taken the opportunity to give his final speech in the EU Parliament to deliver some home truths and wave Union Jack flags which the chair seemed to take some exception to.

They don't like it up em Captain Mainwaring , they don't like it up em.

He could have sung it;

"Now is the time to say goodbye, now is the time to yield a sigh..."

So it's against the rules to show a flag of the country you represent or other at the European Parliament...

Can they be more childish and clear ?

I'm gonna miss Farage over there.

Now just hope we (the Dutch) will deliver a Farage of our own over there.

I too think he deserves the credit.

Not many people know he was not a politician, he was a businessman seeing things going wrong and decided to do it himself. (Now where did i see that also? )
Against all odds, ridicule, smear and other thing.
Against establishment, MSM.

He is the last man laughing.

Respect for him!

You could say "the last true Brit standing"

Without him we would never have got *Brexit*

We need more like him in Parliament .......straight talking!

Prepared to carry things through 'against all odds'

Order givers - not takers

Respect for him!

In spades!

Those are home front politicians. I was more talking about some noise in the EP.
But i get you, and whatever works , suits me!

After Fortuyn I've always got a strange feeling with Wilders, kind of "damage" control. (Just a hunch, hope i'm wrong).
But gotta respect the guys resilience as well.

Gegroet Goedhart!

I just re listened his speech

27 YEARS of campaigning.. He did 27 YEARS of campaigning.

Let that sink in.

Wonderful way to end it.
Calling out the fascists and having them respond by being triggered about seeing a British flag.
Kind of makes the point of Farage's 27 years of struggle beautifully
