Because the incumbents have the $$$ from the special interest groups and you have to be wealthy to run against them.

I agree, but add that the longer you are in congress the higher in the pecking order you go, and people do not want to lose their spot even if their congress person sucks.

Nixon resigned before they could impeach him. I would expect the same from Trump if his cabinet testifies.

Want to bet a beer on that?

Nixon's tapes did him in, nothing more or less. It is suggested he didn't even know it happened, but went into defensive mode that cost him his job.

Come on do you think Nixon even cared, didn't know he was going to win? Lets look at the results and you tell me.

Therefore we either need to push for our politicians to vote for getting money out of politics (never going to happen) or push for more impeachments.

Why? Trump is the outsider...BOTH sides hated him...lol don't you see that? He messed with everything and so EVERYONE is pissed. The deep state is actually the federal employees that are not elected and are there longer than the congress persons, untouchables, not so much the elected officials... We saw that with the FBI, as example.

So you can point to the law that states Abuse of Power of Contempt (the charge brought against Peck) is illegal? If not then please explain how a judge abusing his power of contempt is fundamentally different than a President abusing his power to take down a political rival?

Are you really that braindead!!!!!? They didn't say those particular charges were illegal, they said the cases were different and couldn't be compared to each other favorably.

So in other words unfettered Capitalism has ruined our political system.

Do you understand the difference between Capitalism and greed?

Clinton committed several federal offenses in which perjury was one of them. He lost his law license so what do you say to that. If it was all a sham like this impeachment then why would the bar remove his law license.

If you repeat an opinion enough times it becomes truth.

"I like Nanci pelosi, I think she's doing a great job."

Nope. Still no truth there.

Of course there has to be either high crimes or misdemeanor crimes in order to impeach a POTUS. Even Clinton was impeached not for shagging an intern in the White House, but because he lied to Congress about it under oath.

I am astounded that I hear people in the left claim "he doesn't have to commit a crime to be impeached..." Those people are just fing insane, because if what they say was true then just being a political opponent without committing ANY CRIMES equals to being a crime. Which means democrats have criminalized political differences from the left.

If democrats, and RINOs, whom want this POTUS out for various reasons win, from now on all Presidents that are not democrat/socialists can be impeached just for being from the political opposition. I am not 100% certain Republicans will do the same to democrat/socialist Presidents, although it could happen.

This is the beauty of 'Trump'. Everyone; both sides, the elitist imbecilic Dems/the Mitt Romney/never Trumpers) hate him but he careens along oblivious to .gov officialdom opinion. His genius is he just doesn't care what the entrenched deep state establishment thinks (throw them a hand grenade).

That is why I voted for him because in my opinion he could take it or leave it and it wasn't the end of the world for him if he lost. I think he truly is trying to make America great again. He isn't just saying it and then doing nothing to back up his beliefs. He could give a crap if he lost to Hillary he would go back to his normal life and even if he loses the upcoming election he has something to do and other interests. He isn't in this to grow wealth or power because he already had it.

That is why I think so many in the establishment hate him because he doesn't need it to survive like so many of them and he doesn't care what they think which is icing on the cake. His delivery is brash and maybe unrefined but he isn't a stiff stooge that isn't going to tell you what you want to hear, he tells you what you need to hear whether you like it or not.

Right on. The House Miss-managers keep drum beating "Trump was so afraid of Biden as a future cant'i'date threat" he targeted (with spit balls; potato guns, pie in the face tactics), his failed son Hunter. I see no one being able to prove anyone (even God?) as a threat to his self identity/worth. Trump is a gift for those of us having to put up with the Free-For-All runaway (lets ruin everything) attitude of the left.
