Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is currently one of the Trump Defense Team.

She is an accomplished attorney and is on the hunt for the Bidens !!

Accomplished is correct, she knew what to leave out, and of course, the 'lawyer' after her, trotted out the same Joe Biden video where he makes the boast about firing the corrupt Ukraine prosecutor who wasn't really investigating anyone as he should have been....as Pam Bondi didn't point out, in fact she had said the opposite.

BTW, her delivery was actually, awful...a rushed job.

If Shokin was corrupt, why wasn't he arrested? Why was the investigation of Burisma dropped? Surely the new prosecutor would be investigating wouldn't he? If you actually watched the video, and that's what you came away with, you need to check your hearing.

You need to check your manners, I didn't hear the 'video', I heard her as she spoke, most of it Humbug.

Shokin did investigate Burisma indirectly, The investigation actually dealt with the Ministry of Ecology, which granted special permits to Burisma from 2010, nothing came out of that, and that was four years before H. Biden joined the company...soon after his business partner had joined...both were really there as co-ordinators between Ukraine and western countries. H. Biden in fact had done some unattached PR work for Burisma in the past in much the same vein with the company he, and his business partner owned.

Shokin didn't investigate Mykola Zlochevsky, that was the real problem so he was fired, although two of his officers may be in the clink, they were caught with a hoard of diamonds and cash in their homes.

Pam Bondi merely stumbled out the Giuliani/Trump story yet again which anybody who bothers to look back on the real information, knows is rubbish...she must really have a low opinion of the Senators she was addressing.

But not looking back seems to be the big problem, people are not checking anything out, and just want to eat their popcorn as the 'drama' unfolds....so, where do you wanna be?

I'll give this link,

www.independent.co.uk...

It's just a starter, but maybe it'll help your cogs to turn, and to look for more.

I listened to part of what Pam Bondi said yesterday. What is she laying the groundwork for? If the Senate Trial doesn't feature the Bidens as witnesses, nothing more will become of what she shared.

There is evidence of activity on the case a month before Shokin was fired. He has testified under oath that he was explicitly told he was fired because of the investigation.
That's enough to warrant an investigation. Instead, the president has been impeached for requesting that it be looked into.

There was a good point made on MSNBC last night. Republicans held the House and Senate when this was going on in Ukraine. Why didn't they demand investigations then? They could have.

For the same reason they don't want to question witnesses or the Bidens, Republicans do this too.

All of this is moot. As we know, the President is not above the law. However, if you run for President apparently in Democrats' minds you're exempt from the law, since they keep arguing that Biden can't be investigated since he's running for President.

Because they don't want to be exposed either.

It's almost like they don't understand that they just spent the last three years justifying investigating the Trump campaign.

He was fired because of the investigation that wasn't being pursued. You seem to ignore that it wasn't just the US who wanted rid of Shokin,
the IMF in the form of director Christine Lagarde, also insisted Ukraine was doing far too little about corruption.
The UK too, was raging about pretty much the same case because they too were witholding £23m of frozen Zlochevsky's money, thought to be stolen in Ukraine because they were getting no joy from Ukraine authorities, and in fact they had to release it back eventually. There's no doubt that they wanted Shokin gone.
Shockin was fired in March 2016, in september 2016 a court in Ukraine sent a letter to Zlochevsky,
(who was the entity who had been under investigation), and that investigation had lapsed saying there was no case to .
answer.
The Burisma case was before Hunter Biden joined the company, and was peripheral, and to do with gas licences.
To boot, Hunter Biden's work for Burisma is unclear, but he did work for them as a PR savvy westerner, and not as a lawyer.
Trump's conspiracy theory makes no sense when you get into it.

Above all, you need to read about Ukraine's corrupt political culture going back ad infinitum...oaths don't mean a damn,

But have a long read at these, the first is from 2017 and The Guardian is a sterling paper.

www.theguardian.com...

www.vox.com... plain

A news snippet from 2015,

'During a September 2015 speech at a financial forum in Odessa, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt decried the inability of Shokin's office to root out corruption.'
eu.usatoday.com...

Yep, They wanted Shokin out...for being lazy.

Are you aware of the information in this recent article? If so, in what way is it inaccurate?

johnsolomonreports.com...

While some news organizations cited by the Biden memo have reported the investigation was “dormant” in March 2016, official files released by the Ukrainian prosecutor general’s office, in fact, show there was substantial investigative activity in the weeks just before Joe Biden forced Shokin’s firing.

Pucker up, buttercup, you'll be kissing the inside of a fancy white coat with wrap around arms that tie together soon, if you don't open your eyes.

Because there is no corruption.
If Giuliani has so much proof where is it? He uses it for a sound bite on Fox and Friends? Waves his phone in the air and says I have the proof right here but doesn't turn it over to the Department of Justice? Why in Hell not? The idea is to bring the Biden's to justice right?
Or is the point that they just want to make people think there is a problem?
Why doesn't Ukrain investigate the Biden's then? They still are not doing that.
