No, he can't. This pesky thing called, I think they said the US Constitution.

The "you're triggered" is old and tired. That's a beauty. Up your game.

Trump has no power over me or his supporters, he GIVES us the power

They call that a cult. Which, most members of a cult are too stupid to think for themselves except for what the "leader" gives them.

Thanks for confirming.

Watch 5 minutes of the impeachment trial. I have more than zero proof (as you say) that he is destroying our democracy.

Getting help from foreign nations to advance a political agenda is not ok. It is destructive to our democracy. All of our rules go out the door. Many worry of socialism, well...Trump is working towards that. He is the dictator.

Our democracy is at risk. That constitution you all haven't read? It's in peril, right now. And the liar Trump is on top.

He is destroying our democracy? REALLY?

It is the democratic party that has impeached him for unconstitutional non crime nonsense. If you want to talk about destroying our democracy - they are the ones doing it.

Schiff is flat out spewing total BS to the country that Russia rigged the 2016 election and are going to do it again. He is saying Russia wants to invade the United States. He is saying Trump made the trade deal with China to get them to help rig the election for him. He is making up fake phone conversations on TV trying to portray a conversation as Trump acting like a mob boss making threats - when HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HE IS DOING IS FLAT OUT LYING TO MAKE TRUMP LOOK BAD.

You want to talk about irresponsible governmental behavior that is a threat to our democracy - No one is close to doing what Schiff has done in the last four months - EVER that I am aware of.

I can't tolerate a liar and idiot representing me. I thought Bush was bad, and I voted for him, but I had no idea how bad it could be until Trump. Can we not have an intelligent Republican? Someone who says what he means and does what he says? Someone who loves the country more than himself?

Seriously? You are telling your audience that Trump is not "God" or a Messiah; and that is supposed to be a *brilliant* conclusion/deduction, yet you vote for perceived Idiots and liars anyway. How does that admission validate you as a principled logical thinker?

I mean you can't tell people not to post threads on an online public forum but lying about your political stance just to give a false image that you're an anti trump republican is pretty shameful and automatically makes this a troll thread IMO.

Our democracy is at risk. That constitution you all haven't read? It's in peril, right now. And the liar Trump is on top.

Okay I see what's going on, you're just another low info voter swayed by hearsay and appealing to emotion.

Your post literally just showed you don't have a clue about what's going on and certainly aren't critical of the impeachment process.

Furthermore, you're assuming I haven't watched the impeachment? There has been a thread WE ALL HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING on it and the Defences rebuttal OBLITERATED any the Dems presented, it is you, who didn't watch 5 mins and soundbites don't count.

So what was the point of this thread other than 😭😭😭😭?

Because honestly, I don't care to sway your opinion, just call you out on your deluded perspective, you may continue to "Reeee", enjoy 🤭

I'm "low info."

Good luck with that. I'm also a voter.

I don't think you're low info, I think you're willfully ignoring the facts and that makes you a dangerous voter. And please stop calling our REPUBLIC a democracy. That is one thing you're being willfully defiant about. If the USA were a Democracy it would change our entire existence. You wouldn't have the Bill of Rights, the Constitution would say what YOU can or can't do, a single vote could cause everything you own to be taken away from you, and so on.

Whatever you say you believe, I think most of it is intentional BS and you're just here to stir the pot. Any other explanation wouldn't make sense, nobody is that ignorant to believe our country isn't better off today than it was three years ago.

Fair. And i say that only because most here just lob insults.

If there is a fact I'm willfully ignoring I'd love to hear it.

I won't stop calling our republic a democracy because it is. A Republic. Get over it. I can't change the bill of rights or Constitution and I've no interest in doing so. I want them maintained, I love this country. Trump is f'ing that up.

You still haven't said what he's f'g up. None of you on the Left here have answered any of our questions regarding that topic because you can't. You need to get educated about our Republic and why it is not a democracy. I've got nothing to "get over" and the rules say I can't tell you what I want to regarding that comment, so I'll just say bless your heart and wait for you to answer my question.

Well...it's because I still love America.

What do you love about it?

I guess you don't. You just want it to be yours.

So I'm not allowed to love America?

I'm an unapologetic, non-partisan Independent who can and does vote for both Republicans and Democrats.

I did not vote for Trump or Hillary and found them both to be unacceptable in my opinion. My thoughts then were very much like your thoughts in your OP.

Even though I think Trump is more or less a clown still and don't really care for him, I will however vote for him this time.

Why? Because in the end, when no candidate seems like someone I should vote for, I have to vote based on the outcome of the first term, when it's for a second term. It's undeniable, even with the insane partisan garbage being spewed by even intelligent people, that Trump has succeeded as President. He's put a dent in lowering taxes, the Market is booming, unemployment is at historical lows and in particular historical lows for minorities and he's even got rid of the ACA's mandate, which we knew all along was unconstitutional.

I ran into the same thing with President Clinton in the 90's. Even though I could not stomach that used car salesman/ ambulance chaser/conman, I had to vote for him for his second term. He was actually a great Moderate President, even though his character was so flawed.

When I hire someone to do a job and I've done a lot of hiring in my life, I find the best person for the job and hire them, even if I don't actually like them or being around them. I'd be an absolute idiot to do otherwise. Hiring someone for their personality rather than their skills is a pathway to the bankruptcy court and I see electing someone to run the country as the same. I don't need to like them to vote for them and even more so when they do so well their first term.

I still can't stand Trump. I still disagree with him on some social issues. Even so I would have to be incompetent to vote for anyone other than him considering his opponents. He truly is the lesser of two evils.

People seem to like Trump because he "gets things done" and "takes it to the libs."
To the former, he *does* get things done, but he does it at the expense of democracy.

Sorry, you've kind of burned out my gentleness with your unmitigated hogwash.

He has ENHANCED our democratic republic immeasurably.

The Marxist globalist Dims have been totally shredding our democratic institutions relentlessly for more than 75 years.

The voter fraud by most research seems to be 75% done by Dims and the rest by GOP & all others.

The MSM has pressured everyone they could get away with toward presenting absolutely ONLY THE KOOL-AID SATURATED Marxist globalist 04:00 talking points. They have tried to MANDATE--& that far too successfully--that ONLY the Marxist position has any sway, influence, !!!!CONTROL!!!!

That you evidently fail to see that is a testimony to your ignorance, your stupidity or your blindness.

TRUMP HAS DONE MORE TO PRESERVE & RESTORE MORE AUTHENTIC DEMOCRATIC INPUT INTO GOVERNMENT THAN ALL THE OTHER PRESIDENTS OF MY LIFETIME PUT TOGETHER.

GET REAL. SHEESH.

He, and many of his supporters, believe he can do *anything* he wants, Constitution and checks and balances be damned. He believes he has sole power, and can do whatever he wants, with no accountability, just like a dictator, or a king, which is exactly why we have the government and the checks and balances on power that we do. That is the danger.

What an unmitigated stinking pile of falsehood. You obviously know nothing about Trump.

1. Trump's style is to get everyone of quality perspective & experience he can in a room together. THEN he will go repeatedly around the circle drawing EVERYONE OUT to get from them every bit of perspective, opinion, observations etc. he can. AND HE TAKES IT HUMBLY TO HEART. HE'S DONE THAT ALL HIS ADULT LIFE.

1.1 When he was building buildings, he would prefer to hang around the blue collar laborers over lunch etc. and AGAIN, DRAW THEM OUT on their perspectives, ideas. He almost shunned time with the architects & other elite leaders. He preferred the common man. He also felt that he got better advice & perspective from the common man.

2. He is incredibly accountable. He's far more TRANSPARENT AND CANDID about himself & his doings & plans & mistakes than ALL THE OTHER PRESIDENTS OF MY LIFE COMBINED--PROBABLY THAN ALL THE OTHER PRESIDENTS IN OUR HISTORY.

3. He's not the least bit of a dictator. A dictator would not seek so much input from so many people of all ranks.

He IS a fierce leader who loves to get things done. He slices through a lot of fluff, crap & lesser issues. He's great at being decisive and being effective. That's SO EXTREMELY UNHEARD OF IN D.C. folks mistake that as being a dictator. They are wrong.

Everything you said is 100%.

Even the ebola and stinging of jellyfish.

They do hate us, and despise us. You speak a lot of truth. Trump is just one of those. Prodding us, lying, being that ass.

Why can't a Republican do that and not be an idiot? I hate the guy. Good for my 401k...but I can't tolerate him representing me.

I don't think you hate TRUMP at all. You hate a MSM generated cardboard cutout caricature of Trump that's 99.99% FALSE

Trump could do what he is doing without all the divisiveness.

Do you really believe that’s an accident ?

They’re not gonna give him any good publicity anyway.

So he might as well use that to his advantage .

This is from art of the deal ...

“good publicity is preferable to bad, but from a bottom-line perspective, bad publicity is sometimes better than no publicity at all. Controversy, in short, sells.”

Donald Trump

To antagonize them he tweets about something they’re already enraged over .

If he wants an issue to make the news . He sends a inflammatory tweet so it’s all the media can talk about .

I’m pretty sure a lot of the time when he tweets or says something outrageously wrong. He does it so the press calls him stupid and underestimate’s him. ( he’s got advisers all around him and you don’t hear much complaining from them )

Yesterday I mentioned that when you get your opponents mad they make mistakes. ( rushing the impeachment ) That’s a good thing .

When you get your opponents mad and let them think you’re an imbecile. ( Space force ) Wonderful things can happen .

It’s all a plan and it’s work for him his whole life .

Edit: I should probably give an example of playing dumb because I know nobody’s gonna like that .

Say you’re bidding on a parking garage against someone . After meeting you ask them a completely stupid question on part of the project you know they’ll talk about . As they’re explaining you ask one or two more naïve questions to steer them in the right direction . At that point some will deem you not a threat and keep right on talking . That’s when you just shut up and listen .

When you walk away you’ve got a good idea of what they’re gonna do and how they’re going to do it .

Which helps you shape your bid.

They might think you’re an idiot but who cares you won.

It’s more complicated than that but I don’t know if I could explain it. It’s more of get the feel of your opponent and play on their ego .

Now everybody disagree.

Don’t worry it happens every time I say this . ✌️

Absolutely he uses his bluster, hyperbole, brazenness, outrageousness etc. in his PUBLIC persona as a Sun Tzu STRATEGY.

The leader of our country... who has done a better job leading us the past three years than all his opposition, combined?

You don't like him because he doesn't make you feel good about yourself. I get it. I was the same way once myself, always voting for the most "presidential" candidate or the one that seemed to support my social values the most. What I discovered is that all of those guys were horribly full of it. And full of themselves. And just plain boring. Bush the Second starts a forever war and who doubles down on it: one of the greatest living orators of our time. Whoops.

President Trump is a slow-motion montage of bloopers and action stunts. One minute, he is saying some goofy snip, the next minute he is tweeting something else even more off-the-wall, but do you know what? That montage has a lot of big "hell yeah!" action hero moments too. Things like "more Americans employed than ever," "reformed Medicare prescription drug benefits for seniors," the death of Soleimani (a chaotic evil IED generating machine) and record rates of interest in regular people's 401Ks, IRAs and retirement programs.

I'm thinking we're good. Especially if Adam Schiff represents some kind of alternative brand.

imho,

your not trusting the MOST TRUSTWORTHY PRESIDENT OF MY 73 YEARS by FAR says a LOT more about you than about Trump.

We are FAR BETTER on the world stage than under ANY OTHER PRESIDENT OF MY LIFETIME.
WE HAVE MORE RESPECT
WE HAVE MORE TRUST--other leaders KNOW Trump will back up what he has said to them. Iran sure does.
We HAVE MORE OF AN EQUAL PLAYING FIELD ECONOMICALLY, TRADE-WISE ETC.
WE ARE BETTER UNDERSTOOD AS A COUNTRY.

Almost every measure I can think of internationally, we are BETTER. And I've lived & worked overseas for more than 16 years in Asia.
