The intense Dem leftist hatred of Trump is unreal. The speed at which they moved onto impeachment will be legendary. Check it...

Only 11 days had passed after a whistleblower complaint before Pelosi announced an impeachment inquiry. For Nixon, it took 599 days from the Watergate break-in to an inquiry which he resigned, while for Clinton it took 260 days from the first news report of an affair to an inquiry.

Right now "impeached" just means a majority of TDS-infected House Dems (ZERO R's) voted to 'Accuse' Trump of some made up Bullsnip.

Trump may get an asterisk next to his name (Pelosi's only goal) but only because it was a 'partisan' impeachment by a bunch of House majority imbeciles (the lesson: don't ever try this case before a 'partisan' Senate majority of smart people).

Poor Donald Trumplethinskin is so distraught at the thought of an impeachment stain forever on his "perfect" presidency, his toadies will tell him anything to calm him down.

Good he thinks this, maybe he won't murder a bunch of brown people and start war in a temper tantrum.

Your ignorance precedes you, as usual. I seem to recall Obummer murdering his fair share of brown people, kept them in cages too. I bet you didn’t say a damn thing then, did you? Pathetic case of TDS ya got there, are you ready for another 5 years of Trump continuing to live rent free upstairs? LMAO REEEEEEEEEE

Did Bill even try to fight it?

He cooperated, he didn't obstruct. What does that have to do with anything?

Answer: not a thing.

Trump will always be impeached, forever, even when acquitted. The fact that he "fought it," or obstructed, does not change that fact.

So conspiring to get other people to lie under oath to cover up your crimes isn't obstruction?

He perjured himself, tampered with witnesses, was found guilty of obstruction of justice.

of course it won't erase the fact of being impeached but legally it will indeed "erase" the impeachment. i don't see the impeachment going anywhere and only hurting democrats in the upcoming elections. it's all just a show that means nothing.

Semantics by Nancy. It will be in history books that the House impeached him forever but legally no, he is not impeached forever. It would be like saying the Duke Lacrosse team is charged forever for raping that girl. They were found innocent. If anyone can't see she's just grandstanding they really don't have a clue what is going on.

He will always be impeached and many will always see him as guilty no matter what happens in the senate and the records will show that republicans did everything they could to cover up his guilt and game the system. You have senate republicans on record stating they will support the president no matter what and trying to create rules to make sure witnesses and records can not be heard.

You do realize that the impeachment articles from the House were entirely partisan (Despite Pelosi saying that impeachment articles HAD to be non-partisan to have any real meaning) and the only thing non-partisan from the house was the "no" vote on the articles?

The Senate needs to just throw this crap out.

It's partisan and doesn't mean anything...

According to Pelosi, Nadler, Schumer and Schiff, from the Clinton impeachment.

Hypocritical much?

Nah, just wanting to get some actual brain cells engaged in debate. So, every time i see a mindless reflexive answer, I'll point it out.

You see, you cant actually debate 'stupid'.

He (Clinton) was never convicted. He was acquitted in the Senate. Of both charges.

He (Clinton) was *not* found guilty of obstruction; he was acquitted. Are you really that dense, just that misinformed, or do you just like making # up?

He also presented thousands of documents, unlike the obstructionist criminal Trump.

What color is the sky on whatever planet you live?

You actually made a good point there.

No sense talking to you anymore.

Thanks for the heads up.

Just as many will see as hime being vindicated from the attempted House partisan coup of our elected President. It will be up to the historians to weigh it out for our future generations. Yet, if found innocent and acquitted, he will not be listed beside Clinton, Nixon, as an impeached President, but will have an asterisk simply footnoting the attempt at the most.

Edit add: I don't think Trump will accept impeachment and will press for the judicial branch to review it on the basis of it is partisan scam simply because he is considered a bad guy and not liked by the opposition who fabricated criminal lies against him.

The first President to get elected right after being impeached would say a lot about how far the house of representatives are out of sink with the people of this Nation. Future history classes will cover these times as the start of The Great Draining.
