Lived in Wallingford Oxfordshire (great little town in-between Oxford and Reading) for the last 35 years, come from Newcastle originally, still have all my family in the North East..

I've heard of this "summer" of which you speak.

Only in myth and legend though..

The story goes there is an enormous ball of fire in the sky (unbelievable isn't it?) that bestows heat and light down on the people, who merrily bathe in it's seductive glow.

Personally, I think it's all hogwash. Fire in the Sky? How is that possible when the Sky is clearly filled with water?

It is with great joy you should know that I have sacrificed a good sized she-goat to Sol Invictus on our nations behalf in order to gain favour.
