I know it's been difficult. I know the last few years have been hard ones to endure.

I know that things started looking up recently, but it's time to face some hard, harsh truths.

President Trump isn't going anywhere.

He's been impeached. true. That is a fact.

And while I was skeptical of Republicans in the Senate, I think we'll all have to face the fact that he isn't going anywhere.

The Senate is not going to vote Trump out of office.

There will be no, "Last Minute" startling data to implicate Trump with Russia, Ukraine, Outer Moldovia, Narnia, or the planet Greemley in the Rubelum System.

Now we can still continue to argue back and forth over what "Subpoena" means (it's French for "Leg Wax") and what will happen when Schiff starts playing the banjo in the Senate while Nadler does an interpretive dance to "Obstruction of Bowel". but in the end. . . .

It doesn't matter because Trump isn't going anywhere.

He has been impeached.

But that is all that will happen.

I'm sorry. Hate to be the one to break it to you all, but tough love is sometimes required when you're a grown-up.

Maybe it's time to focus on other things of importance. Like how Warren may be 1/1024th indian, but is 98% Soviet.

Or how Biden just can seem to keep it together.

Or maybe why Klobachar is still eating salads with combs.

Or why we could never have a president named Bootie-Gig because even Canada would laugh at us.

Or how Sanders wants to name Stalin as his veep.

Or how is Ruth Bader Ginsberg still alive?

But either way, it's time to move on. So grabs your support puppies, a soy latte' and have a good cry and come back to ATS clean and refreshed to start in another day of DENYING IGNORANCE!

And how is your OP any different from what you guys parrot every day on ATS so it deserves a thread on its own?
It's the usual pro Trump bs...
Trump god yadda yadda yadda
Commie, traitor yadda yadda yadda
Move on yadda yadda yadda

One of the harsher and more difficult truths that people should learn but usually don't is that it's foolish to so enthusiastically follow an ideology without question. Because it makes them very easy for the opportunists and sociopaths to manipulate them.

Ah yes..

It went from Hillary going to die , then jail, then Obama in hiding, to the fbi to be cleansed to a wall paid by Mexico, to a fine phone call to no quid pro quo to so what, and now just some hard truths Every one else need to face....

Whatever you need to tell yourselves to appease that neurosis and yes. Trump is in control and only has the finest people around him! What a ride.

We're on the map, the world took notice.... From Maduro to Lil Kim to Iran... No allies are with us

The harshest truth of all is that the fantasy of a socialist utopia isn’t coming in 2021.

Anybody who buys into the notion of a utopia of any kind is a little pathetic. And that includes in this life or any other hypothetical life or afterlife.

Your most likely probably right. But at the same time, you should never say never, til its already occurred.

After all, all kinds of crazy things happen in this world. You could go buy a powerball ticket tomorrow and know with great certainty that you won't win... But weirder things have happened and someone somewhere is inevitably going to hit those winning numbers.

That’s right. Your odds of winning the powerball are slightly better than Trump being impeached, Pence naming me his VP and then Pelosi impeaching Pence leaving me in the big chair. No chance of me being impeached because I’ll just adjourn the House until January unless I have to pick up the 2020 nod.

But yeah, stick with the powerball for the better odds.

Nice!

And she will. Her own people will throw her out the window at Trumps command. Her blood will spatter the wall and Trumps horse.

She is going down hard.

Tick tock

Does anyone think the House, after failing the first Impeachment, won't just double down and Impeach again?

They can't help themselves. They will HAVE to try again.

If Trump is "Trump", I'm sure he will set yet another trap for the Dems to fall into.

Maybe he will do something Russian......

Kind of like...did I wipe it like with a cloth or something or it was because of a stupid video to what difference does it make now and zero scandals?
Both sides do the same things.

I agree. It is unlikely that the impeachment will remove Trump. It is also unlikely that he will lose the next election. Looking at US history, incumbent presidents are usually in a position of advantage going into a second term regardless. What concerns me though, is the level of confidence I am seeing from Trump's supporters could lead to a verybig disappointment should things not turn out that way. I am actually concerned about what might happen in the US should some republicans decide to rebel and vote to remove Trump in the Senate vote. It is possible that some may be holding their cards close to their chests at the moment. I am also concerned about what might happen if Trump does not win the election. How are Trump supporters going to react to the reality of say a Sanders presidency at the end of the year hypothetically speaking?

How do the folk of ATS think they would react to such hypothetical scenario's? Could we see actual unrest? What if the Democrats get over the line at the next election in a close, controversial election? With Trumps brazen style, would he accept a defeat? What if he cries foul and refuses to leave and calls on his supporters to take up arms in his defence
