So ... Where are the African-Americans on this? Those folks
who claim duel heritage? Why aren't they up in arms that
the black race is STILL being enslaved by their fellow blacks?
Another question - why do the countries of Africa continue
to demand 'reparations' from the rest of the world for
slavery ... when Africa itself STILL practices slavery and they
were the ones to sell their own into slavery in other parts
of the world?

The government of Niger has cancelled at the last minute a special
ceremony during which at least 7,000 slaves were to be granted
their freedom.

A spokesman for the government's human rights commission, which
had helped to organise the event, said this was because slavery did
not exist.

It is not clear why the government, which was also a co-sponsor
of the ceremony, changed its position.

At least 43,000 people across Niger are thought to be in slavery.

This doesn't meet the agenda of liberals in this country, they want to blame everything on someone else. They won't even admit that "blacks" owned slaves.............
