I'm on the side of the constitution too. Can't wait till some politicians try to bring that back.

I know that's Congress's job, and not the president... But neither side has tried other than some odd balls.

It'll never happen.

Name me the last time a member of congress voted for having less power, authority, control.

People need to start thinking 3rd party.

That's where most of my votes go.

Each party will just drive each other further to the extreme, and people will continue being fearful enough to vote for the lesser of two evils while we slowly lose more and more by both.

Ron Paul IMO was a great example of someone trying.

Didn't like all his policies....but damn did the dude vote for smaller government, and a less reaching one.

And sadly, many think a 3rd party vote is wasted..I disagree.

If Paul was honest, he'd have released the names of all the congressmen who have used the congressional hush fund to silence sex abuse claims.

He hasn't.

My vote is one in 130 million during the busy cycles. I'd way rather vote how I want and know I did. I doubt it would have tipped the scale one way or the other in presidential... But if does in local and state....and that's where you have way more of a chance to impact your own life and sway an election. Still rare I see that opportunity though just because politicians being politicians.

I didn't say he was perfect... But he voted more in our favor than anyone I've seen (know of to be fair).

If still rather see smaller government and rights than what you proposed.

What I want is unimportant. I'm just one voice with no authority, power or control.

We don't side with the angels. We side with the demons we can tolerate.

The slush fund is just a small part of wasted money though.

I'm totally down for tackling it... It's just down the list.

Not much is lower than rape.

But it's a slush fund that pays off complaints yea?

Could we agree a small amount might be some people looking for a quick check?

And if someone wanted justice, they could not accept the money and still take it to court yea? Sexual harassment might make up a majority, which isn't quite rape.

It's a messed up matter, but those women could still seek justice.

How about 90+% of the votes Ron Paul made while in Congress?
