Pebble in a Pond [YA2020]. Non-writer entry.

Sparky asked me something I'd never put much thought towards,"What do you want to be reincarnated as?"

I didn't know how to answer. I mean... I live a good life. I eat, roof over my head, I'm loved, have family. And all I have to do is love. Great life! Sure, ups and downs, but I lived a life of luxury. Still, Sparky's question made me realize how spoiled and selfish I was; I am. It wasn't fair and I wanted to help. I prepared my reply.

"Not all life is able to love unconditionally; I want to come back as a human." Sparky tilted his head, gave me a puzzled look and said he had to go,"Your human is coming."
"See you, Sparky! Pebble in a pond!"

"I missed you!"
Human voice,"Dumb dog! What are you barking about! And get off me! You pissed on the carpet again!"
