The Mating Song of the Ostrich

Everything you never wanted to know about ostrich mating, including the song of the male ostrich while he gets down, gets down.

*WARNING* This video is easily as graphic as anything they used to show on documentary series like Nature on PBS in the '80s back when animals did what they did and Attenborough narrated it thoroughly and dryly as though I wasn't getting a nice sex education right there in my kitchen in glorious black and white.

I couldn't help it because as serious as the world is today? Somewhere, you know there is an ostrich doing this.

Oh ya! Nature sure is scary.

But still ostrich have it easy, compared to some of natures other creatures. I mean just look at this poor spider or Mantis. Also check out the top 5 mating calls out there in nature. Humans made it to number 1. Though it is hard to tell the difference between the human matting call and the turkey mating call, they are very much similar.
