Was that 250ppm a direct communication from Nature or is that just somebody's guess?

The sea levels have been rising since the last ice age
Not really.Looks pretty flat for quite a while. But when you're looking at a vertical scale of that size it's hard to see much. Here's a "zoomed" look.

If you think about it, why would sea levels have been rising since the last glacial period?

I think that they are pointless but those who may push for them should know about them. We may have to live with them at some point to satisfy popular demand. Note that too little CO2 in the atmosphere is also a problem. I have seen a range of ca. 200-1500 ppm as lower and upper limits for plant growth. Given the desires of some, they should realize that completely eliminating CO2 is not a good idea.

Actually atmospheric CO2 at 300ppm would mean a very noticeable stunt in plant growth. At 200ppm it would be worse.

It's the average before we started burning old carbon, as told by ice cores. Fluctuating between about 280 (interglacial) and about 200 (glacial).

No, no , no.

The term should be Climate Change Cause denial.
The climate goes through cycles for sure - as it has been doing since the dawn of time. It is getting warmer - yes. And in a few centuries it will get colder again.

Not much us puny humans can do about it but shake down the ignorant middle class for carbon taxes.

So go ahead and implement those silly measures. Destroy agriculture, transport and the middle class.

Mother Earth will still smile and go her own way as she has done long before we crawled out of the mud.

Interesting how your focus is about money. Transport emissions are not good for our environment so lets work to change that. You only have to look at the blackened trees in my city centre to see that.
Agriculture needs to be more organic, no matter the 'costs'.
Taxes affect everyone so I don't feel pity for the middle class. If capitalism didn't drive everything we do then we'd already be making the required changes however we're stuck with a situation where privileged people don't want to give up their easy convenient lifestyle so to balance out the guilt, shout that this rapid climate change is natural so we just kick back and keep raping the planet cos, capitalism.

"An enormous amount of money is being spent encouraging us to ignore climate change"

Are you actually serious right now? Because of you are the evidence that you are the one under a delusion is right there in front of you in your own words.
I have NEVER seen one single advertisement or commercial telling me to ignore climate change.
Never not one.

I am BOMBARDED with climate alarmism advertising on a daily basis for years.

Dude you need to wake up. Catastrophic global warming is a hoax. It's always been a hoax. Your side has been pushing the same lie for decades now.

Every prediction your side has ever made has been wrong.
Every. Single. One.

It is definitely a psychosis but it's not on our end it's with you climate alarmists.

Billions of people are starving across the world and you want the planet to spend TRILLIONS on a fake issue.

Millions will die because of your psychosis. That's bad enough but don't try making us feel bad when you are the one taking the attention off of REAL issues like famine and disease.

Banning DDT didnt kill enough Africans for your liking?

You're twisted.

Stop conflating toxic air and water pollution with climate change.
We are all against polluting the air, rivers and streams.
If a company gets caught dumping toxic waste into the water or air that company should be immediately bankrupt and those responsible get 30 years to life.

Anthropomorphic catastrophic global warming is a lie.

population and infrastructure of the Marshall Islands are concentrated in small, low-lying islands and atolls, which are highly susceptible to sea level rise, changes in weather patterns, and extreme weather events.

This project will increase the resilience of water resources for drinking and hygiene in the Marshall Islands. Planned interventions include improving household and community rainwater harvesting and storage structures; and securing groundwater resources from seawater intrusion. The project will also strengthen the technical capacities of national and subnational institutions and key stakeholders to integrate climate change risks into water governance processes.

We need development': Maldives switches focus from climate threat to mass tourism
Maldive Tourism

The new government plans to relocate residents to larger atolls – leaving small islands ripe for development. It says these super resorts, not solar power, will create the money needed to adapt to climate change

It also looks like the Saudis are investing (10B) which is looking to turn Faafu into a Riviera-style super-resort with sea sports, six star hotels, high-end housing and several new airports.

Yet if one reads the UN propaganda Global warming will almost certainly lead to the demise of these islands which are predicted to submerge in thirty years' time.

Were it not for synthetic ammonia production, the world population would be under 5 billion and they would be hungry people. At least the weight loss industry wouldn't bother us with commercials. Likely, most people don't mind synthetic ammonia production or even know about it, so consider the term 'organic.' To be clear, all food is organic. Inorganic food - clay, rock, etc. - does not keep us alive. There seem to be many definitions of 'organic' foodstuffs and this causes some confusion when discussing food.
What do you mean by organic food? Non-GMO? No pesticide use? No post harvest treatment to preserve the food?

If they were serious about it all, they'd be targeting the biggest polluters in China and India where the largest proportion of such "change" is taking place. That they keep nagging Western nations already doing things on their own to reduce pollution says it's less about that and more about control.

I won't deny that the climate is changing.

It is..!!

It has been warming up ever since we entered an interglacial period (a time during an ice age where the glaciers recede and the earth warms up for a period, before slipping back into a glacial period), 12,000 years ago.

Earth hasn't even come close to it's peak temperatures yet and won't for several thousand years. In the meantime, we will keep getting hotter and hotter, before the planet starts to cool again.

The next Glacial period is due in around 75,000 years (give or take 10,000 years).

Nothing we do is going to prolong or prevent any of that.

Nothing we are doing now is hastening it.

The carbon footprint we have left since the beginning of the industrial age is miniscule compared to what was created during extremely active volcanic periods or during times when human kind wasn't around to suppress wildfires, which went on for tens of thousands of years, accumulating in severe climate fluctuation.

But let me guess...

You'll still maintain that climate change is 100% caused by humans because "feelings"...lol

Wait I though the ice caps were supposeto melt by 2020? Are you going to push it back to the year 5000?

Take a few basic geology classes and learn the weather changes throughout history before man.

And its extremely naive and ignorant to think humans who have been around so short can have a drastic impact.

Earth is billions years old and humans have 2% of recored weather data to compare to.
