To top it off, a few years back, the Supreme Court decided corporations should be allowed unlimited financial influence over US elections (unlike Citizens, whose financial influence is quite limited.)

Corporations can be owned by basically anyone, so its like saying, "US citizens can give up to ,$2,500, but US corporations whose stock is owned by Saudis and Chinese can donate $1B+ to political campaigns."

I mean...those states cast blue votes in the electoral college anyway. I fail to see how this would change much of anything.

Betty, get out the Guns. I heard them damn liberals are coming. How dare people think we need to live as a united community. We better stop them before the neighbors start to like us.

Riiight... I forgot, all that communists like "slightlyskeptical" want is to unify all of us...riiiight... It has nothing to do with liberals/socialists/communists like "slightlyskeptical" wanting to suppress the voices of conservatives... It has nothing to do with the calls of liberals/socialists/communists like "slightlyskeptical" wanting to criminalize a POTUS not because he committed any crime, but because he dares be conservative/right-wing...

It has nothing to do with liberals/socialists/communists demanding to demonetize, and blacklist Americans whom dare not want the socialism and communism that far left-wingers like "slightlyskeptical" want... Who is to forget how well socialists/communists have treated their political opponents in the past?... It was all hugs and love right "slightlyskeptical"?...

I guess the over 120-130+million people murdered, and the millions more imprisoned under socialist and communist regimes were all hugged to death... They couldn't take the love of socialists and communists like "slightlyskeptical..."

I expect the biggest issue in the 2020 election will be election vote fraud; I would expect to see law suits, investigations and prosectuions in at least a dozen states. There may never be a legitmate result out of that election.

I believe this group is a real thing. Before my state's last election our apartment complex and the surrounding neighborhoods were covered with workers like ants on a cupcake going door to door attempting to persuade people to vote all Democrats. There were vans full of them moving from street to street. It was like nothing I had ever seen before in the way of canvassing.

The bad news for them was that it really didn't make any difference. While a Democrat WAS elected as governor (not because he was a Democrat but because people were sick of the Republican incumbent) nearly every other top position of power was won by Republicans.

People already know how they are going to vote and no matter how many people try to persuade them otherwise they're going to do what they've already set their minds to do.

Didn't this already happen in 2016? How many recounts and lawsuits were there before we moved on into Russia! Russia! Russia!?

Like I've been saying - It's one thing to pay people to go out and bother people, even sign them up, but it's entirely another to make them go vote on election day.

This election interference suits Democrats. They'll ignore it, just like their leader Obama ignored Russian interference.

VOTE? on a HOLIDAY!? Only if it's raining, maybe, but then the sound of the rain...so tired, so sleepy...

Uh, you are forgetting that precious few states have an “Election Day” but instead have early voting a month to six weeks before the election plus the ever popular “Absentee Ballot” available everywhere.

And you wonder why some precincts have upwards of 145% eligible voter turnout? Especially with “provisional ballots” just in case they should be counted for that location.

If we only made voting a little easier and more accessible, I bet it would only take like 150 people per state to make a landslide that would make George Washington look hated in comparison.

You sure about that? I thought Corps still had the same limits as individuals?

No, they won’t. Because America is better than that.
