Bandy Lee is at it again. She's been sounding her "warnings" ever since POTUS was elected. I wonder how much she is being paid this time or if she is on a retainer.
From Wikipedia en.wikipedia.org...

"Bandy Xenobia Lee (born 1970) is an American psychiatrist with Yale University, and a specialist in violence prevention programs in prisons and in the community who initiated reforms at New York's Rikers Island prison. Her scholarly work includes the writing of a comprehensive textbook on violence. In 2017 she organized a conference on the mental health of Donald Trump at Yale and was the editor of The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump, a book of essays that has contributed to the debate about Trump's mental stability and within the psychiatric profession in the United States about the interpretation of the Goldwater rule."

I can grasp it just fine. Im just pointing out that your communication went afoul of Godwins Law, and you have only your poor communication to blame for being misunderstood.

When you invoke Nazi's, folks tend to tune you out. Choose a different cult of personality to ensure your point is made clearly.

Or don't. Instead just yell "Rubbish" at everyone. See if that works.

Here is a New Year, New You resolution that everyone can enjoy...
It Is Time To Get The Mud Back Into The Political Mudpit

Perhaps that was too vague for some. Or needed to be stated with some time to read and reflect.

1. No one wants to read endless bickering between members that has only the slightest tangent to a thread’s theme.
2. No one wants to read endless political trolling and cheerleading between the two sides outside of the Mudpit.
3. If your post is so filled with venom as to run afoul of 1 and/or 2, then it is in your best interest to not post it.

Temp Closed to give it some time to settle in.

Re-opened.

Sorry, but I do not agree! It's not me who brought up Nazis, and it's not my fault people cannot grasp what I meant.

At the end of the day, Trump is a functional sociopath, and he has fanatical obsessed followers, and to me, that is worrying in my opinion.

But hey! Time will tell, and so will history!

I can't speak to his mental state (psychologically). But he is not OK.

I don't like the guy, so attack me for that...but, he is not ok. This job is too much for him.

If you listen to trump even 10 years ago, he was lucid and well spoken now, even clever at times, now.....

He has a difficulty even reading a teleprompter. Onset dementia caused by a fatty junkfood diet.

His last rush to the hospital, no reason given. Mild stroke imo...

No doubt he is a sociopath (like most leaders) but I always thought he was just an idiot, but he is more than that because he has a fanatical cult following, which is always worrying. Leaders like Hitler could do the same thing.

Not saying he is like Hitler, but he has that same fanatical following.

Godwins law is Godwins law. Like i said...avoiding references to Hitler and Nazis is a much smarter approach to debate.

Especially when you are tryng to broad brush 40 some odd million people as Nazis. Reread your post quoted above.

They've tried to float this same BS at least once a year since he got elected.

It's not hard to get 350 TDS afflicted leftists to put their names on anything anti Trump.

Nixon was diagnosed as paranoid.

Reagan was diagnosed with dementia.

*

The CIA took out Kennedy 9 years before Nixon had better be paranoid!

Reagan was fine till Bush's buddy tried to kill him and he went into a Coma and had to have open heart surgery.

Many people suffer after a Coma or heart surgery. We almost lost him.

Don't you people actually read posts, or do you just like twisting words? Please tell me how I am trying to say that Trump supporters are Nazis? I never said that, not even once! Why don't you actually go back and read what I said!

Its clear trump is a high functioning sociopath! He has all the traits of a high functioning sociopath, which I listed a couple of pages back. Off course he is not fit for leadership, and tell will show that, esp after the mess we see happening in the middle East now!

Yet he's doing a better job then any President in living memory.

Weird.

Some people believe thst, some people don't. Trump supporters say he is, non trump supporters say he is not. One thing is for sure, he is s ticking time bomb!

You said-
Do you think he is exhibiting these signs? Why would all these professionals put their reputations on the line?

No.
And really, what are these people risking? Nothing! Reason being, they are pushing the idea of a deranged boogyman which is just confirming the fears of and feeding TDS; therefore, they are telling TDS sufferers what they want to hear in hopes to ignite that which they accuse Trump supports of (from the article):

“ Dr Post warned the strong connection between Mr Trump and his followers means the possibility he would call for violence against his perceived political enemies “cannot be discounted”.”

Who has been attacked over and over the past few years? Really look at the facts. Literally wearing a Trump hat will cause people around you to go into a frenzy. And yet Trump and his supporters are sick?

This is amazing. LOL

These are the tactics of Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" and the Marx "Communist Manifesto". They planned out to use so called 'science' to prove their points and then take power from the people by claiming the often faked data proves a change is needed.

They literally planned to wipe out the opposition thru Psychologists declaring the opponent insane and claiming the target person is guilty of things they are not. A good example of this in action:
People sensible enough to challenge man made global warming are to be ridiculed while the empirical data is clearly against the accuracy of the models.

And.....??

Remote diagnosis of mental abilities is definitely frowned upon in the professional circles. Don't fall for the appeal to authority fallacy. As a professional. she should know better than to do that. However, it seems TDS has clouded her vision and results in her making baseless claims without proper first-hand assessment of an individual.

Yes, even professionals and experts in any field can be swayed by blind hatred and make statements that are unfounded. It is up to us not to appeal to their credentials, but to their first hand assessments. In this case she has none, zero, zippo.

Do you have any real psychological assessment, first-hand assessments, to back up your own opinion of the president? If not, then your opinion means as much as mine, none, zero, zippo.

How many American universities are there with psychology professors. Think about that.

Yes, 350 seems to be quite a low number. Guessing these arm chair psychologists who signed this drivel believe they are superior and above actual licensing protocols regarding patient /client care ethics.

An estimated 106,500 psychologists possess current licenses in the United States. California (17,890) New York (12,020) and Pennsylvania (5,620) have the most licensed psychologists, while Wyoming (170), South Dakota (190) and Alaska (190) have the fewest.

So a "consensus' of less than 0.5 % , hmmmm.

Sounds like > 95 % have not made that conclusion officially.

Funny how it keeps coming up isn't it?

How many times have psychiatrists said this about past presidents? Ever? Never?

Yeah, weird.
You would think they'd question a guy's sanity who air dropped billions of dollars to a country that likes to get crowds worked up chanting "death to america"
