And what is the percentage of people outside of being just male and female?

Maybe less than .003 percent of the population?

So, why should that voice guide us versus the more common people?

Let's not forget that there are people that exist on this planet (and forum) that are intersex. Legitimately destroys the male/female binary discourse right out of the water.

Shemales are still biological men, a DNA test will always show that. There is a genetic mutation which can result in a person being born with both genitalia, that is the closest things to a 3rd gender. Personally I don't really see much issue with letting a male call themselves a female if they are quite feminine, what annoys me is when bulked up hairy idiots try to play into it.

It seems to me we need to create some clear separations between biological gender and self-assigned gender. It's fine if they want to identify as another gender but they need to realize they are still biologically a certain gender, and that's very important information when it comes to things like medical records, otherwise they simply cannot receive the most appropriate treatment.

Honestly, the number of these posts accusing 'leftist' or 'liberals' or other similar anonymous group says more about those who post them and the nature of the 'sources'.

It depends on the policies where she works. I would be fired in a second under many conditions where I work according to company policy. She's probably being fired for breaking some kind of company policy with regards to her company's public reputation. It probably has nothing to do with what you said. But that other people would interpret as somehow representing the company in some way.

I don't know her company's policies. I'm sure she will hire a lawyer to sort it out.

I think media sources write stuff so it's the most controversial. It's click bait. People who think a certain way are played into clicking on these stories and reposting them like fiddle.

I think the transgender people should be left alone. Most of us will probably never meet one our whole lives. There are way more important problems in the World like endless wars, healthcare gouging, etc...

Human males have 'both genders' expressed in their DNA and in their chromosomes (chromosomes are particular ways DNA strands are folded and twisted to pack them into the space of the cell).

The most normal chromosomal expression for human males is X-Y (the Y chromosome usually contains the SRY gene which is a primary determinant of male characteristics).

The most normal chromosomal expression for human females is XX.

This does not preclude other chromosomal mixes such as XO, XXY, XYY, XXYY, XXX, XXXX and XXXXX.
