You were lucky!
A guy at my previous work place got a grinder caught on his sleeve-it jammed the switch on and it span round and round his forearm taking chunks of flesh out in a spiral pattern from wrist to elbow.
It looked like a bad 80's horror movie special effect.
He only survived because the air line somehow twisted around his elbow and acted like a torniquet.
Someone found a strip of flesh with part of his football team tattoo on it stuck to the wall nearby.
I've always hated using grinders since then.

Oh, and if you ever need a hand, I could use a vacation to come work for you just to witness your life for a week.


I can always use a hand and welcome it greatly, but I'm not sure it would be a 'vacation' for you though.
