DOJ: Two Individuals Sentenced in Connection with Work on Behalf of Iran

Ahmadreza Mohammadi-Doostdar, 39, a dual U.S.-Iranian citizen, and Majid Ghorbani, 60, an Iranian citizen and resident of California, have been sentenced to prison terms of 38 months and 30 months, respectively, for their criminal convictions relating to their conduct conducting surveillance of and collecting identifying information about American citizens and U.S. nationals who are members of the group Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK).

“This case illustrates Iran’s targeting of Americans in the United States in order to silence those who oppose the Iranian regime or otherwise further its goals,” said Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers. “The defendants, working for Iran, gathered information on Americans that could then be used by the Iranian intelligence services to intimidate or harm them or their families.

I think in 2/3 weeks when Dems impeachment dies in the Senate, POTUS/Q will be all about re-election. It may look like a lock to many of us but I bet Trump taking nothing for granted.

With 4 more years locked up. All hands are untied.

Senators Warren, Sanders, and Bennet, need to be RECUSED (voluntarily or forcefully) from voting on Procedures, Witnesses, etc.., because a POLITICAL RIVAL (Trump) is on Trial.

Those still running should be eliminated BUT have to sit. Those who stated on the record, like Chuck.Harris/ChiFI should recuse as they have already decided and stated so prior to the alleged articles. In a real trial they would be ousted.

That said, if some Smollett stuff is coming out, some DECLAS, some true horror type stuff it is much funnier for them all to be there judging themselves.

The later is important. They are NOT judging DJT as there is nothing to judge - no crimes were stated just whining about the house not being in charge. It'd be fun to have dirt galore come out and have them judge themselves in display while "the world is watching."

PAV, one thing not really clear is what exactly is the procedure this time for introduction of real evidence. Q "how can you introduce evidence..." raises the issue here.

Is the impeachment a chance to walk every box of renOgade, Biden, HRC criminal evidence over into the evidence room? Could stuff on anyone else just go too since the "articles" are so vague?

If they kill the entire thing in say a week, can all that evidence still stand? Does DECLAS happen on cases that have been resolved?

I have been considering this all day. I could see a short trial til they dropped the new article yesterday, on which they have had no witnesses or interrogations.

Done on purpose to call witnesses. Senate can't let that doc stand as is without some debunking, thus witnesses. (that said, I haven't read the doc).

If I hear another democrat speak of protecting our constitution again, I will throw up.

Which reminds me, if their antic's continue with the world watching, they are done as a political party. Change the name to Communist.
