The thread is about UN soldiers coming for the average Joe's guns and that particular post was about Joe shooting bullets coated with teflon paint thinking this will give it super powers.

No, people were saying the entire thing was phony because Hollywood made it up without knowing anything about it.
And many of the advances were already there back then, just not wholly public, because semi-proprietary to the industry.

And nothing magical or super powers about it just physics and science.

No, not the entire thing. The post specifically mentioned copkillers. That was what was being called phony.

Also, any coating with teflon and other materials in it would not be a round just coated in teflon. You even said so in a previous post.
