All but the two C-5CMs have an upper troop deck. You can put up to 75 people up there, but they face backwards, so it's not exactly a comfortable ride.

Pretty sure gear is usually moving on C5M but I am sure if pallet seating can fit in the C17 it can in the C5M. In this case since they are deploying 3,000+ forces I would assume the vehicles and the likes to supplement that would be flown in partly along with the supply it needs. Some of these also might be parts for maintainance and other such bulky items.

Do you know anything about what helo assets have moved out? Aside from the apache choppers that went over to the embassy yesterday. Hard to track that as I doubt they are flown long distance.

I feel like were mobilizing for something much larger, but everything they seem to be sending also makes me think its going to be quick, and hard and then were leaving

The C-5 is a double deck configuration. The entire upper deck has usable space from the cockpit, to just forward of the tail. They have a galley, lavatories, and behind the wing they have airline style seats. The lower deck is too valuable to take up with just seating, although they have in the past when required to.

MH-60s, and probably MH-47s from 160th SOAR last night, and if I had to guess, CV-22s from the 27th SOW. They operate MQ-9s, but usually the aircraft are already in theater, and they just operate it from their location. The CV-22 is just about the only thing they could move from Cannon.

I also saw a video clip of a Bradley on a semi moving from Kuwait towards Baghdad under the title that armor was moving. I am unsure what assets we have in Kuwait but I know we keep assets ready to go there. I have been unable to find other reports of any other large unit being deployed but that doesn't always mean its not happening.

The point of an APS is to have vehicles required for troops available and ready to go into combat. So they'll move some of the vehicles out as the 82nd arrives for them. That way they aren't tying up necessary lift to move vehicles. The first group of the 82nd into Kuwait was the 1st Brigade Combat Team. That includes a unit of armored vehicles, usually LAVs, but sometimes Bradleys, so they were probably moved out of the APS for them.

2 of those C5Ms RCH979 and a 2nd one which just dropped are making tracks over the med now. Also 4 HKY Callsign C130J30s just lit outta Germany heading north...not to sure what that is though.

Weird 3 are circling and 1 went north...
