For those watching the aircraft, watch the tankers over the next few days. Maine, east of the UK, the Med, along Italy.

RCH010 KC-10A is up over delgada atm. Also another wave of transports seem to be inbound tonight. Tanker over delgada is alone but at 35k' so will have to watch and see if it drops into a refuling track and if anything else pops up over the med.

What's really fun is when they pick up the 150+ knot tailwind. They caught a 787 over the Atlantic with a ground speed over Mach 1.

It was rather interesting that he showed up under the military filter though.

He just got to Gibraltar and is dropping down to refuling altitudes from 32k. Guess we will see which way he turns as to coming or going.

Edit: Nevermind I think he is landing at Rota or somewhere in Spain. Either it's repositioning or it refuled sonething along the way while I wasnt watching.

Probably drop in to Rota for crew rest. I'm not sure on the rules now, but it used to be 12 hours for a standard duty day, including all briefings and debriefing;18 hours with a waiver, and 24 for augmented. That was limited to essential missions only though
