My world seems like a small space . I need more.

I'm getting bored, just seeing blurred images outside and feeling strange vibrations.

Oh, wait, something just dropped from above! I smell it.

It's Food !

I swim vigorously devouring the food that just landed above me , gently floating down.

As I taste this heavenly gift from above, is this God , I ask myself?
I don't care, I just eat until almost full. Then I remember a time, in another place, where I was not alone.
That was so long ago, a distant memory from a place from where I began . I just remember it was a bigger place.

I want to go back, I need to go back. I think I see it over there, I am going to try to get back there.

If I swim down and back up fast enough, I can get there!

So, I try, and try again , until I am finally free, I feel like I am flying ! This is awesome!

I land hard on a hard surface and struggle for air.

But, there is no water here, and I struggle for water.

There is no water and I slowly die .

But at least I tried .

well done if depressing.

I had a tank years ago and would occasionally find little ones that jumped out. sad. if I ever fish tank again I'll have a lid.

Nicely Written! I liked it even if it were somewhat sad. It had Truth, and that always is a winner!
I lived that Life Before. No not as a Fish, but as a Tank owner. We had a 30 gallon long and I loved it. Until the up keep became too much. However The water from water changes was an awesome fertilizer!
