My take was that President Trump was not legitimizing the charade/impeachment and he chose to exercise his executive privilege...as all other presidents have.

Aww, you really don't understand any of this do you. Trump was impeached for asking about Hunter Biden. And long before Trump wanted to be president, Joe Biden was Vice president and the point man for Ukraine corruption, while his son was on a board for a Ukraine gas company, making millions, all while not having any experience in the industry, or speaking the language. So yea, Biden and his boy are neck deep in this and if it's fair to impeach an elected president over his interest in this, it's damn well fair to ask Biden and his boy some questions.

Education is key, you seem to posses none.

So if Biden is elected President, the Democrats must immediately file articles of impeachment against him. That's the bed they've made, now they have to lay in it.

“I want to clarify something I said yesterday. In my 40 years in public life, I have always complied with a lawful order and in my eight years as VP, my office — unlike Donald Trump and Mike Pence — cooperated with legitimate congressional oversight requests,” he tweeted.

"But I am just not going to pretend that there is any legal basis for Republican subpoenas for my testimony in the impeachment trial.

What is it they always say about all the spying that goes on in the name of state security? "If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to worry about". Well using this line of logic, I don't understand why Biden is hesitant to cooperate fully with regards to a potential investigation of something he claims he is innocent of. What's the harm in simply vindicating your innocence Joe?
