Still not going to be a super majority, nothing like you described is going to happen. You're concerned about a nearly impossible hypothetical.

I am not concerned about anything other than the Christmas eve dinner I am going to enjoy.

I will say that thinking that the Republicans are going to win in a landslide in 2020 is naive. When everybody is convinced that the results are known before hand, people don't bother to vote.

It is crucial that everyone vote in 2020.....what the actual turnout will be, no one will know until after election day.

I would wager that by people being so sure Hillary was going to win in 2016, right up until election night, that many people didn't bother voting.

I'm not sure about the rules, but if Trump was removed, Pence would be president. And I think he would have the choice of picking his VP. Then if he was also impeached, and removed, his VP would be president and would then pick his VP. So the only real choice for Pelosi is for her to go on a killing spree, and murder both Trump and Pence at the same time. If she was caught, she could just claim her murder charges are a "vast right wing conspiracy that has been previously debunked" and most of the left would buy it, being that they are largely rtards.

And exactly what is to stop them from impeaching Trump and Pence at the same time under the same articles? Especially considering they are making up rules as they go along?

Well, I suppose that's an option, but they would need to own the Senate as well, otherwise cooler heads might prevail.
And unless something amazing happens, it looks like the left will be declining in numbers all over. I'm a bit shocked, but open borders, socialism, and killing kids in the 8th trimester isn't nearly as popular as some think.

The new VP pick would then face senate approval.

That could be held up forever. Constitutional crisis.

Mind-blown. What if, the idiot left really try this, but as you say, it's held up for a long time, and .......wait for it..........Trump is president the entire time.

You and I could go into the forensic janitorial business in DC and make a mint cleaning up where tiny heads exploded.

I see the Republicans doing the exact same thing Hillary did in 2016....

We got this, it's in the bag until they find out on election night that it went a way they weren't expecting. Trump may win the Presidency, but if they focus all their energy on the Senate races, then they can, to some extent, negate his winning in 2020 by strangling him in the house and senate.

Bottom line, over confidence is a bad thing, it keeps people you need to vote from voting.

While most all of us are wishing this takes place, it is not good for the country to have a singular party running everything. I'm 110% Republican/Trump. never the less the country will need to recover at some time and have more than one functioning party.a reply to: RandomPerson

The Democrat Party needs a thorough prog flush first though.

Agreed.... we do need a viable second or third party however.

My prediction is that the dems lose majority in the house while republicans retain the presidency and the senate, rendering the democrats even more inept than they already are.

I’m willing to go so far as to bet my third testicle on it. Cheers.

At this point that's the obvious hope, but the Republicans had better not mail it in, Think the left has got a motivated base its gonna be a fight and certain races will be close. Those will be ones where manipulation can be involved look at Florida and Georgis both had disputed close elections.

Yep. Then things get interesting. To put it mildly.

I have not the slightest idea how that'd play out. I suspect that a lot of Americans would finally, and loudly, tell 'em all to knock it the F*** off, and get back to work on stuff that really matters...like the roads.

But, it ain't happening within the next 11 months and some odd days. Even should Trump, some how, be removed from office, there's not enough time for them to get Pence, and the new VP--save by assassination.

No, it requires a super majority to remove a president. Besides it's more likely Republicans will take the house and increase their lead on the Senate.

They won't win in the Senate. They will lose the House. Pence will still be VP. Trump will be reelected in a Landslide 2020 victory.

The dems are going to lose everything.....and I am SOOOOOOOOOOO looking forward to it.

Given that more than 80 of the 95 counties in Virginia have named themselves Sanctuary (2A) Cities, I think the Dems are going to lose big in Va next election. I'd like to see that weasel Governor and AG voted out, since they're just both paid shills for Bloomberg.

This set of very very very unlikely events; Trump and Pence getting removed at the same time; or Pence being removed before his VP is confirmed; would actually be a great outcome for our country in the long term.

In the short term there would be a modern day civil war. But in the long term this might be just the kinda shake up the country needs.

According to Attorney General Barr, George Soros is having success with getting dirty Democrats elected.

Quite extraordinary hearing him call out George Soros by name, last week. Soros = Real and Present Danger.

My understanding is he was talking about how Soros is focusing on State positions, mainly, local DA's.

That comment was not, I'm fairly certain, not about House/Senate races...

Pence wont be riding the Trump train to 2020 as he got a letter from Trump along with the rest of the scumbags at daddy Bush's funeral !! He is a snake.

Yep. It's not a party system if you don't have more than one party. And besides, it's just a label describing your beliefs. You're all attacking groups instead of individuals when you take stabs at parties. If you think there aren't good people in both parties, then youre a fool on a band wagon.

Do watch for low hanging branches. The driver might secretly be an independent.
