Yup, TA, my EQ app just went off. A 6.2 in Port Hardy, Canada (same area as the others).... sigh, this doesnt look over.. And the magnitude is continuing to increase

For what its worth, my wife heard from family and friends up in Washington that they saw " Earthquake lights" last night.

Being in Oregon wife insisted I grab a few 5 gallon water jugs while out n about today...cant hurt

That's a pretty vague terminology. And often noted after the fact.

As much as I respect TA's dedication to the study of seismology, I have little reason to think that he (or any other self proclaimed seismologist) has an ability to forecast any particular event.

I think that those who live in known seismically active regions should be alert, and prepared, at all times. Earthquakes are not of particular risk where I live, but there are other hazards.

Don't panic. And always carry a towel.

Saw the earlier ones north of this new set earlier today. It's getting spooky, I live relatively close to this, and if the big one hits, the likely tsunami will definitely reach us. Northwest Washington, Puget Sound area.

Meh, last I checked, homosapiens, lack the ability to predict earthquakes. Closest clues we have or theories are animal start to act funny etc. before big ones hit. Some say strange ufo lights are seen etc. I dunno, I don’t live in a area prone for earth quakes those living in that area prone to earth quakes should always be prepared for them. Not sure what to make of these rumbles, but I would keep living my life, if a big earth quake is gonna hit it’s gonna hit. Nuff said.
