Are you arguing with yourself????

I didn't even notice an argument.

Was the dog in the OP a wolfdog???

Sure it was which means if it was mine it would've been in a pen.
Which means no war. Because my neighbor would have to look for
something else to shoot. Who knows it may be one of my kids. Of
course then maybe I should've let the wolf run free? Half wolf dog
whatever.

I think the note said it all.

“I’m sorry to inform you that your dog was shot and killed Saturday night while digging through my garbage,” the anonymous note said. “It did not suffer and I did not take pleasure in killing It. There is a county leash law which you should abide by so that I do not have to kill any more of your pets.” Read more here: www.sunherald.com...=cpy

He didn't say the dog frightened him, attacked him, attacked his cat, dog, etc.. I think he made it very clear he killed the dog because he was on his property, without a leash. He said the dog was digging in the trash at the time he killed it, but it would not have mattered if the dog was in the trash or not. I think he did threaten his neighbor in a passive aggressive sort of way, because he told him that he would kill any of his another pets if they came onto his property.

This does not sound like a person that was protecting anything except what he feels is his castle doctrine. Lowlife doesn't even come close to what kind of creature this vile air breather is.

That's what I got from the note, the neighbour is a nasty piece of work. Sad that people feel the need to hurt others like this, then again we humans are a nasty species, dogs however in general aim to please and are very loving.

I think you need to take a book into your hands, go to section S (sarcasm starts with that letter) and understand how sarcasm works.

This is not sarcasm btw.

So you really ARE arguing with yourself!!

You've spent this whole thread talking about burning down people's houses and murdering families, but NOW you suddenly agree if you had a "wolfdog", like the dog in the OP, this never would have happened because YOUR dog would not have been running around at-large, but rather would have been in a pen....like the OP's dog SHOULD have been!!

I'm sorry...but where are you not arguing with yourself?????

Again there isn't even an argument and you want to exaggerate
about how I've spent the whole thread go ahead. Looks a little
delusional if you ask me. But I said what I said about MY DOG
pal. Because what I would've done would have to be about my
dog EINSTEIN!

These types of stories work on your emotions. The best
example has been the responses from a member wanting
to murder and burn houses down.Gets people worked up
and then they make poor decisions.
That wolf/dog hybrid looked more like a wolf to me.If I
had seen the animal on my property,I might have shot it
thinking it was a wolf.

Gonna have to have a pen if you wanna keep a wolf dog that's a
known fact.

What about a Pit Bull? Known fact they are viscous killers?

Or actually another harmless sweet breed? Giving that the human has an understanding.
Rottweiler too.

Mylo on the left was a Boston, pit, beagle... God bless the amalgamation of dogs. My amalgaMUTT. Another sweet dog. Another rescue that was not to be over 16 pounds. 36 pounds later on my lap, sweetheart. This puddle of cuddles presented me with a fly one day. Milo smiled.

people! know that others are stupid. ( not stupid just uninformed ) if I was uninformed I would act afraid.

Don't put an animal in harms way. Know what you're dealing with. Give some love first.

At least yours look calm. Huskies were born to run, and they start escape training early.

Wolf/dog mixes aren't "just" dogs.
The dangers of the wolf-hybrids (in general) have been publicized and in many states they are prohibited to own. They ARE NOT just a wilder looking domesticated dog. Wolf Sanctuaries have been flooded with them and try to educate about the problems.

The owner in the article was a moron. You DO.NOT.LET.THEM.ROAM. PERIOD.
They need appropriate housing which includes buried fencing since they will make dens. They also make lousy house pets since they never lose their chewing tendencies. Even neutered/spayed as they get older they will get more unpredictable. A wolf/cross is not and will never be a domesticated dog.

All the drama over "bad man shot doggie" is twaddle.
I have volunteered at a wolf sanctuary, and I love dogs as well. But keeping a wolf-hybrid is about the same as keeping wolves. Or other exotic animals. If you can't reconcile the cost/time/expense to do it right, or think it ISN'T a full time job you are an idiot.

I had a neighbor that took in every country back road stray that came around.
They formed a pack. As canines will.
They killed about a dozen of my chickens and injured a goat so bad that I had to put it down.
Long story short...that pack of mutts is no longer in business.
