Not a lot is known about these organisms, but scientists believe they are related to our own Sperm whales and they may have even seeded the original mammal life here on earth.
They make a lot of noise but as the Ancient Sumerians pointed out, after the space whales pass us by, the space sharks arrive. That's the real danger.
