Yep here we go again ad-nauseam to the dislike of many of
my fellow members. But IDC lol. At least a few have been waiting
with diligence for my next endeavor so here we go! Back to the
Garden.

Just trying to add some entertainment hopefully to keep things
light, give us some form of substance. And hopefully avoid thread drift
and worthless ad hominem attacks that just get everyone in trouble.
The thread is simple in regards to the question that is the heading.

I believe we can all agree that the first of any biological being could not
possibly have been born? So if the first human being wasn't born then how
did he/she come to be? Does Creation provide an answer that makes sense?

Or does evolution provide an answer far more based in reality? Can evolution
relieve us of the question of human consciousness? If evolution is a far better
explanation for life on this planet? Should it not give an account of how
both male and female of every complex life form we know of today evolved
side by side. Until they could finally mate? Shouldn't it also answer the question
of how all species seem to have evolved and started mating all at the same
time? Both male and female?

Why aren't some species still evolving today so we don't have to depend on
lab science to show us all how someone thinks it might have happened? After
all it takes billions of trillions of years to happen yet it all seems to have
happened in a very short time frame in an end giving way to a completely
different process of creating life thru sexuality? Maybe the spaghetti monster
white bearded sky daddy is the "One common ancestor"?

Try to be civil with your replies, an answer here isn't worth your membership.

GREEN LIGHT!

Evolution is a happy mistake.
Humans are born with deformities EVERY day.

Once a deformity helps them to survive a little better in our environment, they'll have a better chance to breed- therefore passing on their mutation.

Evolution is happening, to every species, all the time.
The people who wrote that book those thousands of years ago? WE have evolved from them. Chinese people tend to be fairly small framed, but IIRC they also have the tallest man in the world. They're breeding at an incredible rate, so they'll have more examples of mutations that lead to evolution.

So if a mutation is a good thing it continues on and on in the species?
But if it's a bad mutation it doesn't get passed on or may just appear
sporadically in descendants thru generations? When the right set of
chromosomes intermingle? Why do mistakes not just become part of
the species? Does evolution have any examples of mutations that
that have occurred over a period of time? For instance if we once
had our hands connected to our shoulders shouldn't there be evidence
of such a thing in the fossil record? Along with transitional fossils that
show the very long process of arms growing where are hands used to be?
And does this sound even viable to you?

Well first.... there wasn't a garden

Though I do know of the area where it was supposed to be... regardless there wasn't ever a "first human"... Adam and eve didn't exist... and IF per chance they actually did they were not the "first" humans... and they didn't just pop into existence as the bible claims... made from dirt... star dust perhaps... maybe that's what the verse was actually referring to... but probably not.

evolution is an extremely slow process...

wish I could find that video with the stack of paper... I think that explained it the best

A stack of paper compared to one chapter yet the easy answer is the correct answer?

All just an opinion and most of us are aware of when start to sound like a know it all.
Oh but not you!

yes actually... Genesis is just wrong in so many ways...

said video uses a stack of paper several miles high to explain how evolution works with each paper being one generation

I think it's stupid to approach something so basic and make it
an act of congress but your welcome to buy into whatever scientific
stupidity you like lucky enough for you or most likely not!

Just as you are welcome to buy into a book written by ancient goat herders 2500 some odd years ago as opposed to believing educated people...

its all up to you bro

Yeah! Ancient goat herders that new as much about science as
you barely found out!

lol...nah... they didn't know squat

IF they knew anything about science technology would also have been around... everything you use today, including the cpu you're typing on is Science... everything about how we live... from our diets to the clothes we wear is science

what has that book ever given humanity aside from strife and war... a bit of enlightenment?

More of your ignorant opinion really you can do better.

Blah hahaha

sure... again, everything you use... literally everything has some connection to science... so apparently the only one that's ignorant IF you choose to deny that is you...

Second, you made this thread... but you're the only one getting offended... calling something stupid is hardly a rebuttal... except in religious circles where it seems to work as you're just trying to offend those who actually know a few things about science... we just shrug it off... Most that argue against the bible are quite used to it

third... the genesis account is wrong... earth wasn't made it 6 days... noah didn't exist, there wasn't ever a global flood... we would find evidence of it all over the world... we don't... said book was only written down initially about 2500 years ago, before which it was based on oral tradition and we know how accurate that is... etc etc etc

anything else you'd care to add?

Can you show me any person who has a good deformity, born with a good deformity, passed on a good deformity
Never seen mutations that are helpful

So the stack of paper turns into a person
Sounds real cool bro, true science happening, yippee

Genesis is wrong, not misunderstood, misinterpreted, allegory or confusing.

I can see why the stack of papers is so relevant

Just as you are into buying into a stack of papers on youtube that explain evolution
2500 years ago everyone was dumb and goat hearders, explain stupidity today, nobody has a goat, youtube?

Gnostics, so smart
Oh that’s right, you are to ashamed to tell people your faith

clearly you'd have to see the video to understand... pretty sure its for children so you would pick up on it quickly lol

im hoping someone reading this knows the video im talking about...

i'd have no reason to be ashamed of my beliefs... and im not Gnostic... told you before many times... don't use words you don't understand

Why aren't some species still evolving today

In general, large scale and widespread evolution is an extremely long process, with many small changes happening over that extended period of time, so we would not be able to see it over the course of several generations, although we can definitely see some changes.

Shouldn't it also answer the question
of how all species seem to have evolved and started mating all at the same
time?

They didn't. Just like mammals didn't start mating at the same time as the first sea creatures, because there likely were no mammals at that point.

yet it all seems to have
happened in a very short time frame in an end giving way to a completely
different process of creating life thru sexuality?

Explain.

Can evolution
relieve us of the question of human consciousness?

When was the first human consciousness? Good question.
