Guilty appears to be upside down to you chap.

That or you don't understand that word.

OK, if Biden is can stand accused of the same thing as Trump, then they can both be accused of wrongdoing. You cannot fairly lay blame on one, and not the other.

Both.

To put it another way, if you want Trump to be innocent of the charge, then don't suggest that the charge is valid when applied to someone else.

This is disturbing on so many levels...

It sounds as though you are saying that you cant accuse one person of a crime unless you accuse someone else too. That is about the dumbest thing I have heard in a long long time.

Surely it is the same law for everyone!

Are you suggesting that we should let some criminals get off because they are specially privileged?

All we have on Trump is third party heresay from an alleged whistleblower who admitted he was not privy to the phone call in question.

It was more than one whistleblower and I don't recall reading anywhere that they said they weren't privy to the phone call. Please post a supportive link (and not to an opinion piece, to a direct quote or testimony).

Biden, on the other hand, was videotaped bragging about threatening to withhold a billion dollars in aid if the investigator looking in to his sons crooked business dealings wasn't fired in six hours or less.

The original Ukrainian investigator was fired because he wasn't looking into corruption, not because he was.

There is no doubt. There is no question. It was as blatant and egregious a quid pro quo as there could ever be. Investigating Biden should be a no-brainer. But the no-brains group went after Trump instead. But its not a partisan act... uh huh...

So, indict Biden on it. It still doesn't exonerate Trump. It has nothing to do with Trump's guilt or otherwise. The fact that it is mentioned every time Trump is accused doesn't make you think a little? Trump himself has mentioned it (in his recent letter to Congress) but it still has nothing to do with, and does not clear Trump from what he evidently did.

Sorry you are late to that announcement.

To me, it is weird that the US political selection process consistently fails to come up with a normal, honest, hard working and dedicated administrator candidate, out of a pool of 230 million people! And also the fact that nobody else seems to be questioning that?

Yeah, because an independently wealthy and successful Billionaire business mogul isn't fit to run the biggest corporate empire on the planet.

Well if that's the criteria, Giovanni Motisi would be a good pick. More money, bigger organization with a strong foundation because it survives despite the opposition of all the police forces of the world!

You'd be a fool to think the average blue collar worker could manage that role as well as Trump has. He's been reversing over 30 years of draconian legislation while simultaneously facing the full brunt of the neoliberal horde.

Well, he does say that. Apparently, there's still not much of a wall, either.

You probably struggle to figure out which shirt to wear in the morning.

I have lots of white business shirts and Tee-shirts for casual. I have no fashion choice issues.

The Ukranian Prosecutor General that Biden wanted removed, Viktor Shokin, was not getting results. Not any. The IMF independently specifically mentioned that Shokin was corrupt and also requested that the Ukrainian President remove him, or else they would stop financial assistance to the country.

Britain's Serious Fraud Office had already frozen $25 million dollars worth of accounts of Mykola Zlochevsky, a Ukrainian national that was not being prosecuted by Shokin, despite being requested to do so by Britain in February 2014 and an inquiry being opened shortly after.

The US State Department became increasingly involved in the issue, and by December 2014, had sent a letter to the Ukraine warning the new government would be forced to face unpleasant consequences if it didn’t do more to aid the UK. This was before Biden's involvement.

Biden did not fire Shokin, nor did he hire his replacement, who immediately began investigating Burisma, where Hunter was employed. That investigation did find some evidence of corruption at Burisma, who made a deal to remove the corrupt staff and fix the problems, but none of the evidence of corruption pointed to Hunter Biden at all.

The facts behind Trump’s bogus accusations about Biden and Ukraine - Vox

Still, it has nothing to do with Trump's impeachment.

It was more than one whistleblower and I don't recall reading anywhere that they said they weren't privy to the phone call.

Are you being serious? There was one whistleblower. He was not on the call. This was established on day one.

The original Ukrainian investigator was fired because he wasn't looking into corruption, not because he was.

Shokin, the prosecutor has testified in an EU court that he was investigating Burisma.
Incidentally, his replacement gave Burisma's owner a slap on the wrist in the form of some fines. So, Biden/Obama have Shokin fired because he's not investigating Burisma's prolifically corrupt owner and the guy they favored to replace him only gives the owner a slap on the wrist? How bout that.

So, indict Biden on it. It still doesn't exonerate Trump. It has nothing to do with Trump's guilt or otherwise.

It has everything to do with Trump's guilt or otherwise.
Also, how do you expect Biden to be indicted if Dems have deemed trying to start an investigation an impeachable offense? Kind of difficult to have an indictment without an investigation first.
The whole point is that there's more than enough smoke to warrant an investigation. If an investigation is warranted, it's not an improper request. It might be one thing if Trump just out of the blue asked Zelinsky to investigate Burisma/Biden and report back to him with any dirt but that's not what happened. He asked that Zelinsky look into it and talk to the Attorney General. Between Burisma's super shady reputation, Hunter's salary, his inexperience, Joe Biden being point man in Ukraine as tons of money is being poured into the country, and his billion dollar quid pro quo, it was an appropriate request.

And as far as the whole quid pro quo claim against Trump, no one has testified to having first hand knowledge of a linkage between the aid and the investigation. After a parade of witnesses, anyone who claimed to know of a linkage says they heard it from Sondland or someone he had told.
What did Sondland say in testimony?
He said he "presumed" there was linkage. When pressed further, as to whether or not he ever asked Trump, he says he once asked him what he wanted from Zelinsky. Trump responded that he didn't want anything. "No quid pro quo". Trump continued by saying he just wanted Zelinsky to do what he ran on, which was to clean up corruption.
Even Zelinsky and his ambassador deny there was ever any pressure or linkage of aid to an investigation.

The Dems are systematically destroying their own party and, frankly, I find the whole thing pretty entertaining.

You know exactly what they mean. You're not fooling anyone. Or maybe you're just trying to get me banned.

You would cite the IMF and Britain as credible sources. May was like a British Hillary Clinton, and the IMF's own chief is corrupt

Oh so they had Shokin fired and their own pre-approved prosecutor replace him who conveniently found no evidence of Biden's corruption. What a surprise.

No one believes this B.S. you are all grasping at straws trying to save face as the walls crumble around you. A dying animal gasping for breath. It will all be over soon.
