The house Democrats have impeached the president with articles that do not include an actual crime.
On purely partisan lines.

It is a divided sad day.
Unprecedented in our history.

Wait, that was Clinton wasn't it? Or was he impeached in his second term?

Yeah Dems impeached him.

Too bad for the Dems not one Republican did.

History is going to see the Democraps tried ousting a President they hated. A president who obviously loves his country. Who is part of the Highest economy ever at the time. Lowest unemployment. Getting things done. Who accomplished things that he promised as a Presidential nominee.

Yay for them showing how bitter they still are that Hilary and co lost.

The tears and cry’s couldn’t be more clear.

House impeachment no longer means very much. It's more like a slap on the wrist now.

It actually made Bill Clinton more popular and a multi-millionaire.

People don't know civics.
The dems can hoodwink them.

By this vote they are saying Biden is the de facto 2020 candidate.

Who needs debates or primaries.

Splendid. You don't really think uncle touchy feeling has a snowballs chance in hell of winning, do you?

Besides, Biden being the nominee is bound to be comedy gold.

WJC was impeached December 19, 1998.
Second term.

Dems say, "show me the orange one and we shall bring you da crimes". Or make them up, as is the case here.

I still wouldn't put it past Hillary to put in now that this vote has passed, which would take votes away from Biden and ensure a record turnout for Trump, 2020.

What a stupid move.
I wonder how badly they'll lose seats all over the country, now.

It'll be fun to vote for an impeached president in 2020.

Funny how Dems look all giddy.

You still lost. Hilary still lost.

He’s still your president.

I almost feel embarrassed and sad for them. Almost.

But what exactly has he been accused of doing and why impeachment?

This really is confusing and I'm honestly not being sarcastic or trying to score any sort of imaginary point but I thought with all the checks and balances in the US system anything remotely resembling impeachment worthy would be identified and addressed well before such an outcome as this.

Apart from Nixon - something I understand - what are the precedents, if any?

He's really excited too! Eager to get to the Senate and expose Schiff and The Whistleblower as frauds.

And here is what it all boils down to folks...
They know there is no way they beat Trump in an election in 2020.

Just wait until Trump becomes the first impeached President re-elected.

The Democrats could stop him if they could find a worthy candidate for 2020. Unless someone appears from the shadows before Iowa(which is highly improbable), that won't happen.

Hell if Trump doesn't look better and younger than he did 4 yrs ago. He looks good tonight. That particular shade of salmon with peach undertones looks good on him.
