From the guy, in a state where it just swung 10+ points to give a it a Dem governor. lol I mean if you want to be biased by all means go right ahead but be realistic. You saw it right in front of your eyes that change is coming but you choose to ignore it lol.

John Bel Edwards was the incumbent and won by 2%. He's passed pro gun policies and done things like make it a hate crime if you assault police. By today's democrat standard, he's an independent. The girl he pushed for SoS was defeated by 20%.

Pay attention. Out of 66 races, 4 democrats beat a Republican.

I think he will win but not with a landslide.

My guess is that nothing has really changed. He will lose the pop vote and win the electoral.

It will be just as close as last time if not closer.

I will agree that he is very close to center and ever lean right at times and wasn't his old man governor years ago as well? BUT
www.washingtonpost.com...

and I think if I just googled correctly only 1 senate seat is up for grabs in LA. but you missed the point I was making and we can take Kentucky's results just recently too that things are shifting whether you want to believe it or not. Now. how that transforms on election day is hard to say but I think you'll find states like Texas being 1 point differences. Which is crazy to think. This isn't going to be a walk over.

I doubt it. He didn’t win in a landslide last time, and no Republican has won the popular vote in over 30 years. If he does win it will be because of the electoral college. Not because the majority of America wants him as President.

He still had a right and maybe even an obligation to do so if he felt American security was being threatened.

Funny how Donald Trump the corruption fighter didn’t care about corruption until Biden entered the race, but I digress.

He did win in a landslide. It's not a popular vote. You can disagree all you want but those are the rules. He won in a landslide. Go look at the final tally again. It's not the largest landslide but it's a landslide.

Even as the House prepares for the historic vote, however, there's growing evidence that the public impeachment proceedings in the House against Trump may actually be helping him politically.
Of all places: www.cnn.com...

Obi-Wan Trump to Democrats: "Strike me down and I will become more powerful than you can ever imagine!"

It is predicted to be the largest turn out in 100 years. Large turn out usually favors the Dems if the votes are actually cast and counted. Mostly likely there will only be one voting booth in districts have lots of Dems as usual.

Yeah, I bet some precincts will have 110-120% voter turnout - count on the dems to dig up as much support as possible.

I think Trump may win by more than he did last time.

I just love how the low-iq people among us honestly think that if President Trump is impeached, he’ll lose votes.

Ha ha haaaaaaaa. Nothing can be further from the truth.

We''ll see who has the low IQ come next November won't we?

Will you concede it is actually your IQ that is low if Trump wins?

But of course, condescending, arrogant, we are smarter than everyone else, and know exactly how everyone else must live their lives, or else - is the typical liberal world outlook that assumes anyone who holds an opinion you don't like must be brain damaged or downright ignorant. Congratulations, you are now officially a progressive/liberal, you passed the arrogant condescension test hands down! This is not an insult, it is the same reality you speak of when you said anyone who believes Trump will win has a low IQ (i.e. is stupid and ignorant)

I think you misread my post.

I think that the low iq people are the ones who think that impeachment will hurt the President’s chances

I think he’s gonna win his second term by the biggest margin in history

And I do think that anyone who believes Trump will lose, has a low iq.

Pretty sure we’re of the same opinion

The popular vote has nothing to do with elections or whether there will be an electoral landslide.

Bush beat John Kerry by 3 million votes in 2004.

Buttigieg is going to beat him and be the first gay President.

Are you serious?

He is last in the polling and is not capable of getting hardly any of the black vote.

He has no chance.

As of now Donald Trump is "The Teflon President" - Way back during the 2016 Eleciton and to this day 'they' can make
nothing stick.

Meantime he adlibs insults, whether true or not, and they seem to work. Remember 'lying Ted Cruz' and of course
how can we forget 'Crooked Hilary'.

Personally, and even though I blogged for and voted for Trump in the 2016 Election, mainly because I could not stand the idea of another Clinton in the White House, and Donald Trump seemed to be a true independent, not a died in the wool Republican - But events and his actions have shown him to be just that - He has rather brilliantly unified the entire Republican Party with apparently almost 100% support - Strategic game playing at its best.

But his policies do not necessarily favor me, nor do they favor most people in middle and especially lower middle and lower classes - Unless you want to credit him with the lowest unemployment rate in 50 years.

People vote because of money - Trump has the economy on his side.

So how will a Democrat Socialist beat him, by saying I'm going to destroy business excesses? - That wont fly.

And Michael Bloomberg offering to give away his business to win the election and take away peoples right to choose
the food they eat, own guns under the Second Ammendment, etc, etc. - is scary.

America needs you John F. Kennedy maybe you could come back for just a little while and tell this new group
of Democratic extremists - They can't win

I Doubt he would win. His approval is down, an all time low with the military. They have lost confidence in him. He isn't winning over new voters, he only works on keeping what he can keep, and has lost many due to his over the top antics (tweeting, for example) it is turning folks off. a reply to: AlienView

a reply to: OzBoomer77 I enjoy playing with 270towin. I think it will be close like it has been since 2000. Polarization and partisanship has been steadily increasing for 20 years now.

Several things, 1)Yes higher turnout usually favors the Dems but 2) Trump has brought out a lot of previous non-voters, 2.5) both pro and con 3) he has lost lots of women, and they can't be gerrymandered. 4) the 2018 election was pretty much like 2008.

Pretty much unpredictable! Swing states: Penn, Wisconsin, Michigan, Omaha CD, add Arizona and Minn. Dems may flip Penn, Michigan, maybe maybe Arizona, GOP likely to hold Wisconsin, maybe flip Minn. I dunno Iowa. If I did 270towin right and it's like 2016 but the Dems take PN and MI and Omaha CD, the Electoral College will be tied(!), wouldn't that be something?, but then to the House and then the Republican wins. I will not be wagering on this one!

Then redistricting before 2022. Some more seats will be moving from the Rust Belt to the Sunbelt.

So Donald Trump becomes the third President to be impeached - Again like him or not, it was pure political theater.

We already known the result in the Senate - 100% of all Republicans will vote for acquittal and Tump will remain President.

Knowing Donald he will use his victory in the Senate and gain, rather than lose, politcal power in the upcoming election.

Now ask yourself this, even if you don't particularly like Thump - I like his style, but not many of his political views, except defending the Second Amendment where we agree.

The country is now more divided than ever.

Trump or the Democrats, who truth be told, probably did want to impeach him as soon as he took office.

People if this Country is going to survive this politfcal civil war must end.

The United States was first created with the so called "Great Compromise" - Let's remember who we were

- Its time tor America to be reborn again - Stronger and smarter than ever
