I humbly disagree... now is not the time.

As much as I personally dislike Guiliani, the boy is good at what he does. He knows how to investigate, and how to get information. And he's positioned himself on the right side of history this time. But the impeachment is not a problem and certainly not a good enough reason to throw all the cards on the table at once.

McConnell cannot let a trial go through. Such a trial will allow Trump's attorney to call witnesses, and Guiliani would definitely use that as an opportunity to lay his own perjury traps and to try and get more leads from witnesses. The case against Trump is so flimsy it will collapse under its own weight, so there really is no need to concentrate on a full-frontal defense... but there is plenty of reason to use said defense as a legitimate excuse to get some questioning in. So all a trial will accomplish is to to trap some into committing perjury, which can be addressed later, get more leads on future investigations into Ukraine, and implicate not just Democrats, but Republicans as well. Democrat leaders may be over the top lately, but they do not hold a patent on corruption.

Want some evidence of that? Listen to Lindsey Graham's continual calls for dismissal without a trial. It sounds to me like he's got some Ukrainian skeletons hiding in the bedroom closet that he doesn't want revealed. I wouldn't be surprised if Mitch MeConnell was involved himself!

Guiliani knows this; I'm sure of it. I would bet money that he has been pushing Trump to call for a full trial.

No, better to let the Senate dismiss the charges. That's what the Democrats want, because they'll have the stigma of impeachment to throw up in Trump's face (impotency defined, but they apparently don't believe that) and still keep their dirty little secrets hidden. That's what most of the Republicans want, also to keep their dirty little secrets hidden. Only Trump and Guiliani are pushing for a full trial.

Oh, once it happens, Pelosi and Shiff will scream to high heaven about how unfair it is that Trump never even had to go through a trial... but make no mistake, they'll be doing so as nothing more than an act. It will all be just to draw out the maximum benefit from the impeachment.

Once that all dies down, and Trump is essentially acquitted, Guiliani can get a little more serious with his Ukrainian contacts, because he has been vindicated. He can funnel all that to the DoJ (legally, because it will be done using actual hard evidence instead of some silly made-up dossier like Orr was involved in) to be combined with the Horowitz and Durham reports, and we can start to see some actual justice. It's frustrating, I know. For so long I have been watching the preliminary reports of the next big drop of information and been disappointed like everyone else. That's why I haven't been posting much lately in threads about the next big report about to drop. But if I step back and look at things from yesterday's perspective, I do see slow change. Justice is moving. It's just moving slowly and methodically, and yes, it will take at least 8 full years to do a lot of good... maybe more.

Thanks to the impeachment push, we have those 8 full years, though, and quite probably another term at least of whoever Trump endorses for 2024. I'm still pushing for Ivanka.

I just have to say, it does my heart good to see you supporting the corruption so vehemently. You being from Europe, I can only assume you are much more familiar with the Ukrainian situation than most Americans.

So every time you post these rants about how corrupt Trump is, you are essentially deflecting, and that tells me you're scared. Good. You should be if you have a dog in this race.

Bit dogs holler first. Keep hollering.

Rudy’s son coordinates all of the sports teams visits to the White House. He’s a golfer. He played on the Duke golf team. POTUS is a golfer.

That’s a LOT of “qualification” boxes checked to have that job.

Wake me when Rudy’s son is paid $50k a month to serve on Huawei’s board of directors as part of China Trade Phase I, II, etc.

Rudy was on the Ingraham Angle last night. His interview starts at the 14 min mark.

Is Rudy's son qualified? What does he do? Is he actually working?
That would make a huge difference, it would make the comparison of the two circumstances, apples to oranges.

That's not all that much. Biden's son made that in 2 months from Ukraine alone.

I guess you didnt notice where I mentioned that the Romanian govt were kind of confused as to weather he was expressing the position of the trump administration? Kind of like the text messages and testimonies kind of show a whole mess of confusion as to what the heck was going on in the ukraine?

But, here's another interesting timeline...
Rudy's buddies who were romping around the ukraine with him, lev and igor...
They were arrested around Oct 10th.. at least that was what the articles I just pulled up was dated on.
The article I pulled up about Rudy's butt dial, you know the one where he was trying to dig up a few hundred thousand, was dated oct 25th and said the butt dials occurred earlier in the month....
Well lev is having a hearing, I believe today, asking that his terms on bail be revised I believe today? The Gov is gonna be argue that his bail should be revoked because he lied about his assets. That he had a million dollars wired to his bank account from russia back in Sept.

www.politico.com...

There is a link in the article to the court filing and yes I validated, it mentions the million dollar transfer from a russian bank... a large chunk of that money went to buying a house but I cant help but assume that there was at least a few hundred thousand left over that was to be used to fund their exploits in Ukraine. But when they were arrested, that left rudy out in the cold and scrambling for some money...

Ya, I know, it's only an assumption, but that is pretty much all that yous run on and my timeline fits so nicely together.
So, who in Russia is funding Rudy's game?

Nice analysis, the slow pace is frustrating but seems the only way to build a strong, credible case of this magnitude.
The resistance has been given plenty of rope and you make a frustrating point when you say Guiliani should wait however it seems like the right move. I always thought Guiliani was a heavy handed Mayor but he did get results.
The only thing I would disagree with is Horrorwitz, maybe leave him out.

Until he puts his money where his mouth is and shows us the evidence he has. I am going to believe that he has nothing and this is just a bunch of propaganda.

At this point it looks more like rudy is saying whatever he needs to in order to keep working for trump.

Totally apples to apples comparison.

Corruption - corruption.

If you fail to see that, you should let your morale system get a check-up. Or welcome to the Corrupt States of America, have a seat and take some jobout of that jar over there, our lobbyists will arrive shortly.

Nepotism doesn't equal corruption.

Well, by definition anyway.

Actually, I thought Horowitz played his hand fairly well. He might not have "lowered the boom" as hard as many of us would have liked, but he did make a point that there was abuse in the FISA system. That was his purpose; dispensing justice upon those who deserve it is the job of the DoJ. A harshly worded slap down of everything to do with the FISC and the FISA process would have opened the door to charges of partisanship and weakened the case.

Recall that the DNC has not attacked Horowitz... so when a case is made against one of those in the DNC that is based upon information in the Horowitz report, it's going to be hard for them to turn around and discredit the very report they previously celebrated as a Republican "nothing burger." James Comey has publicly admitted to the erorrs made under him... so what can he say now when charges are finally brought? It really is a chess game, and a slow one at that.

I'm hoping the whole attack is waiting for one more piece to move: the Durham report. If that's the last piece, checkmate can take place in a single move.

I called out Yovanovich's perjury right after she said it. Now, Rudy has documented proof the ambassador perjured herself.

But please, tell me about how this is the Bad Orange Man's fault.

That's a good idea! Just ignore Guiliani's propaganda. He has nothing. No reason to even think about him.

Ummm... so why are you posting about him again?

I want to see what he has.

It doesn't bother you when people claim to have things but then never show them?
Don't you want the evidence he claims to have to be real?
Do you blindly trust a person you've never met?

Ugh - she is far too globalist/socialist for my taste.

I much prefer Don Jr for another 8 years, then Eric.

I'd very happily settle for Candace Owens anywhere in the mix...

Hunter was being paid about $83,000/mo... so, almost that same amount per month, instead of annually.
