I think it’s only fair to attribute Antifa to the left since the left attribute every racist white guy to the right. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes.

Yes ANITFA is a well organized and planned LARGE group of progressive/liberal/leftists in the US and Europe, who band together for the express purpose of rioting, destroying property and assaulting people because they disagree with their politics.

On the right are a few, handful of weirdos that act out perhaps 90% or less times than ANTIFA and the progressive/leftist students in the US and Europe. These right leaning weirdos are not attacking anyone for their political ideology or political ideas. They are not attempting to force people to believe exactly as they do - or else. They are committing random acts based on entirely different/weird/and wrong things, not trying to force people to believe exactly as they do - or else.

Huge difference.

The people who scream "DEMOCRACY" @ every turn show just how hypocritical they really are when Democracy doesn't go there way.

Then we have the Legacy media gate keepers for the New World Order pushing the lies...

Yet it is us who they say is destroying democracy? lulz

I am conservative. I just basically want equal application of the law, I don’t want a police state that can make false allocations based on political bias, I want small government, no to be spied on, and see the world being hell bent on a citizenship score as modeled by China.

I am a liberal. I largely want the same things.

Agreed! And, it's not reality. It's fantasy, they live in a fantasy world. Hence my earlier statements about them not having any idea how governments and economics works. They are demanding a world which simply does not, and can not, exist.

Utopia is fun, but...

It's a relatively small handful of middle-class graduate type, London based champagne socialists protesting.

I assure you they are NOT representative of rank and file Leftist leaning voters in the UK.

And one has to wonder if in todays climate would it be any different if there had been a Labour victory?
I suspect not.

I totally disagree with you. In today's climate it would have been different if there had been a Labour victory.

For my reasoning, please carefully read my previous 2 posts. I laid out exactly why there.

There is no organized group on the right who has multiple times per year, in the US and in Europe representing the progressive liberal left who has rioted, destroyed property, assaulted people because someone said or did something conservative and for no other reason. ANTIFA

There is no other political party whose members regularly beat up people for wearing a hat or t-shirt simply because the hat or t-shirt has a message they disapprove of. This has happened well over 600 times in the past 3 years.

This is a normal and regular occurrence with the rank and file on the left. This is an unusual occurrence (once per year or less) with the fringe elements on the right.

Completely agree, it's endemic with the left, it's their 'go-to' behavior and nothing out of the ordinary for them.

Completely different with the right. In fact, I cannot recall even a single example of the conservative right behaving this way.

Obviously you know and understand the UK far better than I do.

I've only lived here for my full 54years and frequently travel the length and breadth of the UK on business and pleasure and have a very large network of friends and associates from all sorts of different backgrounds.

My apologies, I bow to your superior knowledge.

The Right telling the Left what they think, who they are, etc - - is just so enlightening.

NOT

At least I can say I was a Republican for 40+ years - - before I had enough of their attitude and behaviors.

At least the Republican party gave you the option to stay of leave. With the extremist left, if you leave that faction behind you are taking your life in in your hands and risk persecution to the end of your days.

So several hundred protesters represent the whole left? Following that logic, Unite the right rally in Charlottesville represented tho whole right wing.
I wish these kind of bs yellow journalism trash headline threads would vanish.

The Right has a more tight knit focus. Primarily white Christian, money/corp, "my porch".

The Left is the "Catch All Bucket" for everything the Right doesn't agree with - - including all the "color outside the lines" people.

Unfortunately, getting "color outside the lines" people, to take politics seriously is a challenge. They kind of doom themselves with their live and let live mindset.

See, and my view of the behavior of the left vs the right is the opposite. When I think of the left I think of South American indigenous folk, using the system to win democratic elections, and using the economic product of their nations to provide education, better wages, and healthcare for their people. And when I think of the right I picture military coups, assassinations, and massacres of their populations. I picture think tanks and analytics groups investing millions to develop techniques to manipulate opinions to steal elections. I picture oligarchies who fix wages and price fix their products through artificial scarcity, who buy legislation and elections and use ownership of the media to control the narrative and mislead their people into supporting the very wealthy elite who intentionally steal their profit and set up barriers to entry to remove competitors.

Opportunists are opportunists.

Who/what benefits?

I use what I call "Elevator Thinking" for perspective. Seeing the same situation from different viewpoints (floors).

First question is: What do you want?

Do you want everyone to fend for themselves? (animalistic survival of the fittest)

Do you want some social programs? How much? Who should benefit? Personally, I'm very Pro-Living Children.

What I'm seeing right now in the US is a strong lean to an oligarchy.

I did just the opposite than you. My family was diehard democrats their entire lives. 20 or so years ago, I recognized their corruption and how they had abandoned their base constituents to peruse their own agenda to gain complete power and controll of DC and the nation. And while they are doing this they are being completely hypocritical now and claiming they are supporting and defending the constitution and our democratic "REPUBLIC" but they continue to insist we are a solely democratic nation. HogWash! We are a Constitutional Republic first and foremost. Democracy be damned if the Republic is destroyed by these radical Soros subversives.
My oldr brother once told me, Charles, this mortal earth is the Devil's domain. He is corectomondo.

See, the problem with that is with either the “democrats “ or the “republicans “ you’re still supporting the oligarchs and the wealthy elite. And their goals, from soros to Koch’s to pelosi to McConnell are contrary to the well being of the vast majority of the American working class and that of the rest of the world as well.

True. And not just the United States, but most of the world as well. Analytics groups, NGOs and monopoly media empires are controlling elections all over the world. Fascists and oligarch despots have come to power all over Europe, South America, the us, etc. The left is being subverted and monolithic organized corporatists are rewriting the scripts to monopolize profits, labor products, and all forms of societal control around the globe. Standards of living are collapsing in all western controlled nations, rights are deteriorating and the social contract is fraying. I expect backlash once the next crash hits, when they try to push another bailout, of businesses not people, naturally.

Austerity is being forced on the people while the Robber barons and merchant princes are making out like kings. We will see how this turns out. I’m pretty sure my family will be ok. But the vast majority of Americans, 40% of whom live on 18k a year? I feel for them.

How can I be supporting Soros and the Kochs when I am doing everything I can do to expose them? Tom Cotton was believed to be the 2nd coming of Christ in the beginning but he has done absolutely nothing while being in congress. The only thing he has done of note is to attend the Koch brothers annual shindig every year. I know a man that served as a Captain in the Army as an Apache gunship pilot. He is home now after 8 years serving in both Iraq and Afghanistan and I am trying to persuade him to run for the US House of Representatives. By the way, yes, he is a God fearing man. Otherwise, I wouldn't support him.
And I don't care which party he affiliates himself to.

If he did go to Washington as a democrat, I would see it as his opportunity to make that party realize their insanity and turn them away from their destructive pursuits.
