It's possible that Democrat Presidential candidates like Sanders, Warren, Biden, etc.. may be campaigning in vain to unseat President Trump on January 20, 2021. Because...

There’s a little-known precedent on the books that Democrats are trying desperately to have removed before the impeachment trial of President Trump concludes.

In 1974, as Nixon faced impeachment, the Republican Congress passed a law that would allow his term to be extended if he was acquitted.

The law was specific to Nixon, and was set to expire in 5 years, but Nixon resigned.

The removal of the law, therefore, never happened.

As the article says, the U.S. Supreme Court would rule if President Trump can extend his term by three years, after his Impeachment Acquittal by the United States Senate.

In November 2023, there would be a Presidential election, where President Donald J. Trump can earn/win his second term, and continue to KEEP AMERICA GRRRREAT.

KAG!

Possibly. It's in the Mud Pit, which can easily be pushed over to Skunk Works, if ATS moderators deems it necessary to do so.

Just 3 years?

President Trump would have 3 years added to the current term. Effectively making it a 7 years in duration FIRST TERM. He could tack on an additional 4 years, a second term, by winning re-election.

Since the pricks in the House say they will impeach President Trump again if he is re-elected, he could have 3 years added to his second term...making for a grand total of 14 years of Keeping America Great, with Donald John Trump as our President!

Those who are refusing to leave the Democrat party, are paying a heavy emotional price, thanks to House Democrats and the radical Presidential candidates, who are pushing the party so far to the left. Oh...and then there's corrupt, fetish-prone Biden.

If Al Gore had invented the Internet earlier, we'd be able to search the Nixon Impeachment archives online.

Trump has prophesied this on Twitter... depicting himself campaigning for office indefinitely on a Time magazine cover.

Trump will one day surpass Edgar Cayce and Nostradamus....

A site with a name like Dailyworldnewsupdate is usually satire, from memory of other ATS threads.
But even on the story they tell, it is only a precedent, not an active law. That law was limited to one person, they say. So "the removal of the law never happened" is bad legal logic. It would have expired anyway. So this Democrat Congress would have to pass a fresh law. We can see that happening?

President Bill Clinton acquitted on both articles of impeachment On February 12, 1999, the five-week impeachment trial of Bill Clinton comes to an end, with the Senate voting to acquit the president on both articles of impeachment: perjury and obstruction of justice.

There's a bright side, if this is a satire article. We get to witness an EPIC Democrat/MSM meltdown again, in just under 11 months from now!
