This band is one of my new favorite's.John Lennons son, And Les Claypool, the bass god of the world.

This also belongs on ATS more than anything because it is about Jack Parsons and Aliester Crowley creating JPL and possibly setting the world on fire.

Because he started his experiments in the back-yard
Jack Parsons as a little boy rarely let it go too far
But the trouble really started when he found another young arsonist
Because together they were ready to reach the stars

So the two of them began to play around with various explosives
Jack had stolen from the local firework company
The military gathering observed the other young rocket scientists
Thought the boys would do what no one else had achieved

How high does your rocket fly? (Does your rocket fly?)
You'd better be careful, boys, you just might (You just might)
Set the world on fire (On fire)
You'd better be careful, boys, or you'll set the world on fire

So Jack became a loyal follower of Mister Aleister Crowley
He took an oath to be a Magister Templi
His family house in Pasadena was notorious for the orgies
Every night Abyssinian mysteries (Mysteries)

And when his company proclaimed that they must make real laboratories
His reputation made it difficult to proceed (Difficult to proceed)
And after one of his alchemical, magickal ceremonies
They found his body in a pile of blood and debris

How high does your rocket fly? (Does your rocket fly?)
You'd better be careful, boys, you just might (You just might)
Set the world on fire (On fire)
You'd better be careful, boys, or you'll set the world on fire

How high does your rocket fly? (Does your rocket fly?)
You'd better be careful, boys, you just might (You just might)
Set the world on fire (On fire)
You'd better be careful, boys
You'd better be careful
You'll set the world on

Do what thou wilt
(Do what thou wilt)
(Do what thou wilt)
(Do what thou wilt)
Love is the law
(Love is the law)
(Love is the law)
(Love is the law)

Do what thou wilt
(Do what thou wilt)
(Do what thou wilt)
(Do what thou wilt)
Fly me to the moon
(Fly me to the moon)
(Fly me to the moon)
(Fly me to the moon)

Another topic i went down the ole rabbit hole on years ago on ATS was the Boriska Boy from Mars.
Look him up. Its a a great sci fi story if nothing else.
Heres an amazing song about this kid.

heres an interview.

this is some throw back camelot project #.

When i first heard these guys i knew i liked them.
When i actually heard what they were talking about i was kinda mind blown to be honest.

anyway. Enjoy. This is one of my new favorite bands. Even if it was manufactured by the shapeshifting Reptilian blood letting overlords. hahha

music has an Alan Parsons vibe. not bad.

Hollywood should definitely make a movie about Jack Parsons. only thing is, I read he had a negative encounter with L. Ron Hubbard, so the Scientology people might object.

A few years ago, I was thinking the same thing. A quick google search and voila! Ask and you shall receive. Looks like Claypool and Lennon have been watching too, and are as antsy for season 3 as I am.

I had to go read Parson's Wiki page after the first season to fact-check, and they indeed take some liberties with the story - however, it's really well done, and though I am personally no fan of Crowley, Parsons, or the OTO, it's an intriguing story and an important part of both Occult and American history. Major cliff-hanger at the end of season 2, I won't spoil it for ya
