Jack Northrop was flying his flying wing designs before the Horton Brothers. At the time they were flying glide tests, he was flying powered aircraft. All flying wings have some stealth factor to them. The Horton design was more of an accidental stealth than purposely designed to be one. Northrop was actually ahead of them, as he was developing the YB-35 in the early 1940s.

The military is nowhere near as far ahead as people claim. I always hear 50 years, yet the people actually working on these systems (including the ones we don't hear about) are practically begging to be allowed to use commercial software because it's so much better than what they have to use.

The Space Force is designed to combine missions of all the different Space Commands. It doesn't make sense for every branch to have their own command with their own budget all overlapping each other.

Over the years, there have been a wide range of proposed concepts in this vein that differ primarily in how capable the combination of mothership and spacecraft is and, as a result, how big a payload the second vehicle can carry into space and what types of orbit it can achieve. The War Zone has been closely following these developments. 

China wants space superiority. Kwast concern is once China moves forward with their "Space Navy" in a few short years. They will decide who's satellite stays or goes, perhaps charge a fee.

I prefer China has dominance over US. US is losing its chance due to corruption, racism and greed. At least China will have the man power to protect the planet from outer threats. Let those billions of China men loose in space. It beats the real fascists living in US because all they will do is ruin human progress and bomb everyone back to stone age like WW2.

Don't forget to join the army to protect and serve the country, but not the world.

ICBMs and SLBMs can reach any part of the planet in an hour already. Not that much of a huge leap.

I suspect that the revolutionary technology that he is referring to is Elon's Big, Funfilled Rocket (BFR).

I suspect it is something a little more serious than a heavy lift rocket.

The man said it would be like the discovery of fire to early man, a heavy lift rocket is more akin to the discovery of the wheel not fire. With out fire early man would have died in darkness and cold long ago, with out fire we would have basically nothing.

To compare the discovery of fire to the discovery of something by modern man I think can be only 1 of 3 things.

1. It could be either the ability to travel through space time.
2. The discovery of truley unlimited energy
3. Or the ability to genetically modify ourselves i.e. Super human intelligence , strength and basically immortality

Those three things could be compared to the discovery of fire , a heavy lift rocket ....not so much.

Yes we know the technology is now coming out...but we need to remember to never forget to punish the hades out of the beestards who fought to the end to keep it hidden...if this goes un-remediated history can and will repeat itself....again.

Already did. Just that the innovation is catching up to American military counterpart in civilian sector. But, not in the space sector yet.
Given China a real space force tech, you'll def see a lot of people going to join in the Space Army. Electric cars are insane there compare to US who overprice things and tries ban it. The first steps of China leading a resource base economy/civilization is happening way faster than US. That is a start.

China also has no problem making millions.of their own people.homeless while destroying the countrydide in an attempt.to get ahead. Very 1800's dontcha think.
