What facts?

Is there a specific point on which you want me to go dig up supporting facts for you? It can get complicated deconstructing conservative disinformation.

Why don't we start with this gem:

"Conservatives have enlarged amygdalas, which make them susceptible to fear and I don't think they feel comfortable unless everyone is tightly under control."

Why are we talking about conservative genitalia?

Conservative envy?

What law did trump break? From the charges put forth for impeachment, their doesn’t seem to be one. Could you please quote the republicans who said regardless of whatever charge put forward they would acquit trump?

The links you posted do not prove any laws were broken. They state the author of the articles interpretation, which you seem to have taken as fact. It’s proven a law is broken when a court rules on it.

We can’t help it if you take opinion as fact.

The Democrats say they don't even need the whistle blower anymore since trump released the written conversation.

And how are words written down even debatable...

What trump did what completely legit

What Biden did was extremely sketchy...guy is on tape saying you ain't getting the money unless that prosecutor is fired .

And dems are like nope, nothing there.

Very twilight zone stuff

If trump never released the transcript the dems would be running on a whistleblower that hasn't even been sworn in under oath to tell the truth...

That person needs to come in and swear, but the whistleblower doesn't matter now because of trump release of the transcript

Thank you! I can see we are in agreement as to the obvious crimes committed by the past administration and cause for the peach mint hoax. I also agree with you regarding term limits. As private conpanies I have no idea how we could break up the media giants into more managable sizes short of anti trust laws, but I would add one more thing to advocate for that would take nothing more than an eo with a signature from the boss. Mandatory bi-annual forensic financial audits for all public employees, senators, and representatives including their imediate family members. The results of which are to be public. The corruption will not stop until we get these multi millionaire career poloticions seperated from their gravey train of dirty money. Appealing the ruling on citizens united would go a long way as well. Keeping big money out of campaigns would be awesome, and i like your idea of publicly funded televised campaigns of limited scope and budget. I just wish we could figure out a way to do it that wouldnt leave the federal government as sole arbitrator of the funds, as that could become a way for the administration to play favorites with funds and time slots. JMTC.

If you think he could get off scot free then you must think that he actually did something to get away with.
No matter what the outcome he is still impeached. It's part of his legacy now.
There is no getting away scot free anymore.

Too bad that had already been done by the committees who approved it. That would be congress.
Thats total BS because he didnt need to. He held it to get them to make that announcement and for no other reason.
period.

OMG reallly?
Because the whole abuse of power is about him bribing Zelenski and withholding aid causing people to die so he could cheat at the election again.
God knows he couldn 't possible win without cheating.

I understand there is a lot of partisan siding on the Trump impeachment. The thing is from my perspective, from the witnesses, it really does look like Trump broke the law and his oath of office.

Every witness has said he did not break the law. Your statement is puzzling.

Democrats are all smoke and mirrors...all the time. If Trump is guilty of a crime, it's simple. Show the evidence. Whether anyone "says" it's all made up or not, it's irrelevant in a court of Law, and Trump wants them to take him to court. He's begging them to. Because he knows in court, that they would be under oath and then stiffer criminal charges could begin. Extraordinary claims, require extraordinary evidence. Period.

Not a single witness said he broke the law.

Witnesses generally don't say whether or not a law was broken, they simply state—testify to—what they, um, witnessed.

What does it mean if Trump gets off Scott free

Simple:

It means the GOP cares more about party and Trump than they do about country and the US Constitution, and Trump can and will continue to abuse and consolidate his power unabated.

And I am 99% sure he will be acquitted.

Its pretty clear that Trump tried to Bribe Ukraine for personal gain.

Bribery is defined by Black's Law Dictionary as the offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of any item of value to influence the actions of an official, or other person, in charge of a public or legal duty.

All the testimony taken as a whole pretty much makes it beyond any shadow of the doubt. Add in the fact his own chief of staff held a press conference, admitting it was true, and to "get over it"." Its been done like this for a long time" pretty much seals the deal in my mind. The thing is that when it was done prior it was holding up aid for a national interest rather than a personal interest.

All I see here is a bunch of people who won't face reality. They simply create reasons to blame others to defer any guilt. The thing is if Trump continued to go with Mulvaney stance the Country would have forgiven him and viewed it less seriously. I don't think they will be so generous now that he is claiming it didn't happen. My guess is that Biden / Dems holds a Trump card (ironic term) that will be exposed either before or during the Senate proceedings depending on how the Senate decides to go about it. This will put Joe way out in front when he exposes the emptiness of the Republican allegations.

Of course you "JUST FEEL" like he broke the law... Because radical leftists like yourself don't rely on facts, or evidence. You rely "on your feelings" and wanting to criminalize political differences from your own.

You, the left whom are still behind this sham, are nothing but authoritarians whom don't care for the law.

I have to laugh every time a left-winger, including your socialist leaders in the DNC, keep claiming "we are protecting the U.S. Constitution..."

You, the left, stand for oppressing the opinions and views of people whom lean to the right in politics, hence you are against the 1st amendment protecting people whom lean right in politics.

You, the left, are against the 2nd amendment, as well as being against due process if those accused differ in politics to your own.

You, the left want to ban the Electoral College and only want "direct democracies/dictatorships."

None of you care about the U.S. Constitution, or the rule of law.
