Maybe the BIG event is Republicans in the Senate decide to uphold their oath to the Constitution and decide to impeach Trump because the evidence warrants it.

Don't you have to have that pesky thing called proof to do that? Oh, wait, the dems are running that show, where we don't need no stinking proof or evidence just an allegation and third and forth hand rumors.

“All through my life I've had this strange unaccountable feeling that something was going on in the world, something big, even sinister, and no one would tell me what it was."
"No," said the old man, "that's just perfectly normal paranoia. Everyone in the Universe has that.”

― Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Have to admit that feeling is there but as you get older the feeling gets less and less, or maybe we old farts just stop caring.

It's not getting less and less with me. I had the feeling again last night, that a "graduation" is coming, or something. That a life-changing event, Childhood's End, if you will, is about to dawn.

I’m involved in a business venture that might be close to demonstrating a truly revolutionary power source. We’ve been working on it for 10 years. I’ve invested $100,000, and others, quite a bit more. Thousands of hours of research have been done by people who normally charge a lot for their time. More and more scientists — and I mean Ph.D. physicists and chemists — are intrigued by the theories of our chief scientist, a Ph.D. physicist for more than 50 years, who is ably assisted by a Ph.D. chemist at a West Coast university, a chemist working at a highly regarded school in Ohio, a nuclear engineer, an electrical engineer, a retired chemical engineer and our CEO, who has a law degree from a very prestigious school and an MBA from an equally famous school.

Our main problem, as with so many startups, is funding. Proving that our theories can be turned into useful, feasible, lucrative products will not be cheap. But very recently, we started collaborating with another company that has received millions in angel investment funding for its research into LENR, better known as cold fusion.

Our chief scientist thinks our collaborators can get much, much better energy return ratios with his help, and just as importantly, gain credibility with investors by offering mainstream science explanations for the results. He insists the observed energy output is NOT caused by cold fusion, and that 90 percent of the periodic table could serve as fuel for the reaction. Zero pollution, cheap, unbelievably dense and long lasting, it would change the world at least as much as steam power did in the 19th century. It could make getting into orbit as safe, cheap and reliable as transport by rail or barge.

Anyway, it could turn out to be a complete bust; we won’t know until we build an experimental device. Then we’d have to get many times more power out than we put in, and be able to repeat the results. Our collaborators have already gotten up to six times more energy (in the form of heat) than the input energy from their experimental device, and have done it about 150 times, always getting at least double the return. We think we have a much better understanding of how they’re getting their results and can significantly improve them, and it would have nothing to do with cold fusion. Also, the output would be mostly electricity, which cold fusion devices have had a very hard time producing. Wish us luck!

Every year I see an OP similar like this, nothing happens. Best way for me to help you is to switch off the tv, Internet, and smartphone for a month or two, come back and tell us how refreshing and stress free it was.

This is the first time in 10 years I've participated. Something BIG is coming. Feelin it in me bones.

Only conjecture, but I feel the big event will center around D. Paulides 411 revelations of other entities from beyond the power dome.

or Yellowstone....

Yep after years of seldom remembering my dreams, mine have also become very vivid and often disturbing. Don't know exactly what to make of it but it certainly has my attention.

Yeah my dreams have been really crazy the last couple of weeks but I put it down to me being clear of the MJ as it is common with people who have been regular smokers, but after hearing of numerous people around here saying the same is happening then maybe there is some sort of change occurring, whether it is relating to the earth's resonance or frequencies within the human being or psyches I don't know but shhh is getting more strange thats for sure, the only thing I'm sure is that if/as this intensifies do not fear it.

All I know/feel, is that it will be massive and on a global scale. It will involve all of us, no exceptions. As it turns out, many people seem to have a similar (gut) feeling and they also aren’t able to tell whether it will be a positive- or a negative event, all they know is that it will be something serious and huge.

I share the same feeling/opinion. Something massive is heading our way, something that's written about in the Old Book about the End of (these Wicked) Times. It's that time that God will judge the nations.

Not only it'll be on this planet, but it'll be interplanetary, that's how big it'll be. All the planets the joined that ancient rebellion against God will be judged by Him. To give more credence to this special feeling, it's the fact that there's already somebody on this planet, that's closely connected to God, that elites call him "anti-christ" and hate him so much, that will clear the way for God's promised coming. He is God's messenger, that will announce this big event to the people.

So be ready and make amends with God while on this earth, help and love each other, do good deeds, stay away from evil, so God shows mercy on you and your loved ones.

Do You Feel Like Something BIG is coming?

I've felt that way since 1974, but this time seems dreams, my vivid and disturbing.

Same here. My dreams have become utterly nonsensical and some are just too weird for me to even begin to source them. I haven't really remembered my dreams in decades, but lately...? Whew, I wake up thinking, "What the hell was THAT about??"

Just the other evening, I was fully alert, having just lain down to sleep. Within a few seconds, I'm suddenly jolting awake, completely dazed and wondering what had just happened.

Not only that, but I'm starting to have those awful and disturbing waking dreams, where I'm not fully sure if what I'm dreaming is really happening, or not. I don't like it because some of the dreams are rather terrifying.

Time is slipping away too fast. I feel like I'm accomplishing nothing, but time is leaving me way behind.

You are correct.
The book of Revelation is composed of three genres: letter, apocalypse, and prophecy. The letter genre is literal and didactic; the apocalyptic and prophetic genres are symbolic and emotive. Interpreting Scripture is an art, and you must know how to play by the rules. You wouldn’t play basketball according to the rules for soccer, and you wouldn’t play soccer according to the rules for baseball, otherwise you’d have a chaotic mess. That is what most people make of Revelation because each part must be interpreted by the rules that go with each genre. The problem is, knowing where each one begins and ends so you know which rules to apply.
Prophecy uses imagery and symbolism to communicate truth, but apocalypse is a bit different, even though it uses vivid imagery and symbolism. Apocalypse is actually another language. It is the language of the spiritual realm. While prophecy can be understood by the conscious mind, apocalypse speaks in the language of the subconscious. For example, when you have a dream that you are naked and flying, it is your subconscious’s way of saying “I feel exposed, anxious and I want to experience freedom.” You are not to understand your dream literally, you are to understand it emotionally and symbolically. That is the language of apocalypse, which is why Revelation doesn’t seem to make sense to many people. But as you said, right understanding of Scripture is only possible with the assistance of the Holy Spirit who inspired it.

I don’t know what is going to happen. But whatever it is, I have the overwhelming feeling that no one is going to be ready for it. Everyone will be caught off guard. I had a dream several years ago that three lights appeared in the sky, first one, then another, then a third. They arranged themselves diagonally across the moon and then the moon was destroyed. I’m still not sure what it meant, but I feel apprehensive as Israel goes to its third election.

Was just talking about this with my best friend, and she feels it too. The last time I felt this way was before 911.

Lately, I could work 9 hours and feel like it was only 2.

Location: Boston

Work 9 hours and feel like it was only 2! yes! Conversely, lately I have been sleeping for like 2 hours but feeling like it was 10!

Location: Same as you

The establishment seems to be trying to work on a way to pass themselves as wise and "superior" aliens, all over the news you see the signs and even in TV movies.

Other than that I don't know.

On a positive side, the establishment is being countered by the rise of new rebellious efforts that genuinely wants the establishment out.

facing mortality is the doom-porn that haunts me lately...

on 12/12, I wandered over to the County Treasurer Office to plunk down the Annual Property Taxes...(again)

I've heard on the local talk radio the millage shifting would result in the whole tax bill going up by $30-50 bucks...
but in my case with an unrenovated 50+ year old house that needs modern double pane windows, plumbing lines updated, updated electrical and replacement roofing...
my whole years' 1.6% COLA increase of $216.00 (for SS $) was eaten up and swallowed by the $266. --> a full 10% property tax increase

the tax office had aline of taxpayers of +60 feet lining the hallway, all of 'em coughing and much so I had to go out the exit door & get some fresh air, because of the stench of heavy breathing by the heavily clothed crowd...
in fact I had fleeting thoughts of the Respiratory Flu going around in America, and how I might catch the Bug from a person in the crowd of 'forever indebted tax payers'...…….I also imagined I was getting the brain butterflies & symptoms of a Panic Attack in feelings I once had immediately prior to my Brain Hemorrhage/Stroke in 1997

I became intensely preoccupied with my mobility, balance/vertigo and social interaction & had thoughts of keeling over amongst all those others who were dutifully bringing booty to our Elite Overlord System(s) of oppression

My 50 y.o. Son, a true self made professional, accompanied me to the tax office, was the only connection to reality at that time-place....because my golf car was 'winterized' and I couldn't venture the 3 mile journey to the Bank & Municipal Building location before the tax-penalty due-date was enforced

it's sorta scary to be in such a mind-frame, coming almost face to face with one's Mortality, anticipating another brain stroke...especially in a crowded hallway, people all bundled up & hacking their viral breath in an unventilated area...

whew … I was relieved to return home

I have felt this ominous cloud looming over us for several years but recently it has picked up in intensity. Only last week I thought to myself I should really start stocking up on tinned goods and
the like. Not sure if it's because I have recently become a mother and my maternal anxieties are driving this or if its just because sometimes when watching all the chaos in the world is like watching a slow motion train wreck

I can't put my finger on it, but occasionally, over the last few months, just out of the blue I'll be hit by a feeling that something big and life-changing not only for me but also for the country or world is coming.

I don't know if it's something good or bad, although the feeling I get is "Prepare Yourself", as in, prepare yourself mentally and emotionally.

This feeling can come over me when I'm on the computer, driving in the truck, eating at a restaurant, looking out a window--just any random place.

It leaves me a little shaken and worried, and wondering what it means.

I get the impression it's something larger than merely an event in my own life, but there's never any detail to it.

I don't know what a premonition feels like, but if there's any such thing I'd say this comes pretty darn close.

Are any of the rest of you getting hit with this feeling that "something BIG is coming?"

whew … I was relieved to return home

I'm 58 and have been experiencing weird dreams, a daily feeling of dread and the sense that time is accelerating, for over a year now. And no, I don't do drugs and have practically stopped drinking.

Like many have stated on this thread, I also feel that something "big" is coming, but not as the result of a physical conflict, or natural disaster. It feels like a spiritual awakening is about to unfold.

Lately, I'm beginning to feel that "true relief" from all this BS, will come when we "return home" to our spiritual state. That's the "real" reality we all belong to, not this physical reality that we conjure up from our brains and five senses.
