That statement makes very little sense to me considering you probably have never seen a "real" grey.

How could you know for sure what they look like?

As a child I saw a creature in my folks courtyard. I truly belive it was a GREY. I was about 6 years old and in the late 70's in South Africa there was nothing on TV or playing at the movies to cnfuse my brain that my loving dog was a Grey. The being peered through a gateway about10ft away from me. It was short, had a distinct grey colour, had what I termed an 'eliphants skin"(wrinkled reptilian), the head was long rectangular with a subtle v towards the chin. I told everyone I saw a "little grey devil" as it had "black horns on the top of its head" (black eyes possibly ?).
I immediately ran upstairs to call my folks who were having a Sunday afternoon nap and they came to investigate. There was nothing...
Without any external prompting how could I note so many "typical" grey characteristics, despite never having seen any movies or toys that looked that way...? I have been wanting to go to a hypnotist to confirm my sighting...I think I will soon. Will inform you all about the outcome.
The experience was 100% real to me.
