Early this morning, close to 1am EST I could not sleep so I was 'surfing' through the tv channels until some caught my interest. There was a program about the UFO phenomena that was had many interviews of so called abductees with various pshychologist telling us what they thought, most saying these people have an 'overactive imagination.' This part of the show was boring so I didnt watch it much but it got me thinking about an overactive imagination and for some reason I tuned back into the program just before 1am and a few shrinks were giving their closing statements, then one guy went on saying he thinks the phenomena was real and what happened next I could hardly believe. They showed what had to be a real living Grey for like 10 secounds on national televsion, it was nothing but videos, no words from the Grey. Sure it could have been a costume or something, a darn good one at that, but what I saw was a real living creature, a perfect example of a Grey.

Anyone else catch the show overnight?

Sounds like you saw the Alien Agenda on the History Channel, as it was on late last night...it was a recreation, not a live video...
Often they'd use clips from movies and not mention they were doing so (such as the Close Encounters footage during the Holloman AFB segment)....

I think, this thread will be more about overactive imagination, than Greys. Overactive imagination is a special mental feature, which is very useful to explore and back up new events in life.

Whether aliens grant this ability or a person is born with, makes no difference. But as you previously posted: Imagination is a powerful weapon!

Do you believe that your encounters are only a portion of simple imagination? !

I really doubt you actually saw a "living" grey. Especially not on national television. Gaz is right most likely you just saw a recreation. I haven't seen that show but if you thought it was an actual grey then im guessing the recreation must have been a good one.

Ive seen countless recreations about the subject and they are easy to tell they are fake. This was different, the Grey was alone in a room with no 'special effects.' Plus they have 59 minutes of a boring show and the final minute they have some guy tell us he thinks they are here and then they show the Grey. It would be the perfect way to show a Grey to anyone paying attention with out creating too much of a stir.

Maybe so, but hard for us to give any more input based on the info so far. Did the show you watched mention the Holloman AFB meeting?

I paid attention to the end of it. I dont even remember what the program was called, Im sure if it is aired again I will and promise to give this board a heads up on it.

And Gaz is more than likely correct, it was "Alien Agenda" on the History Channel. I thought it was a very thought provoking show that covered many topics related to aliens and UFO's. Once again, skeptics began citing sleep paralysis and overactive imaginations as the likely causes of these phenomenon. But, as usual, they were not able to address abduction cases of people who were NOT sleeping when the abduction occurred, nor did they attempt to.

Withe respect to overactive imagination, yes, many of us are born with them while others find ways to develop their imaginations through life. One thing that I thought was an interesting concept is that perhaps alien encounters ENABLE an overactive imagination in people due to their psychic and telekinetic abilities and their use on humans.

Another area that I believe warrants further research is hypnotic regression. Some believe that the abduction phenomenon are implanted during hypnosis as opposed to removing the veil of repression that prevents people from remembering an abduction. Is anyone aware of any psychological lab studies that address this?

Finally, although many of the images of greys that were shown on the show looked authentic, I would sincerely doubt that any of those were actual greays. As Gaz has already acknowledged, a great deal of footage came from films.

Well kozmo, since you saw all of the show you had to have seen the very end of it. That last Grey the showed, whether real or fake, really stuck in my head. Something about it really got my attention, unlike any other of the alien stories and recreations I have ever seen. Just one little guy in a room alone with those black eyes looked liked something extradonary to me.

Aren't you the character who claims to have a Reptilian chip implanted in your head? You sure do know a thing or two about overactive imaginations!

BTW, since you stated in another thread that it was possible, could you please communicate with me telepathically? Or have your Reptilian friends do it? That way I can be the only person on ATS that believes you. I'm not even joking. I do want to believe, and I don't care if anyone else doesn't believe me. Just contact me later or have the Reptilians do it. I shouldn't need to give you any personal information as your's or their telepathic skills should be able to fill in the blanks! Otherwise it would be like making an appointment to see a psychic, when they should know that you're coming in the first place!

It was some pretty awesome video... but I believe it was special effects video that achieved it's goal... to look authentic. Having over 10 years experience in the CGI (Computer Generated Imaging) industry, I am more inclined to believe that we were witnessing a fully rendered computer generated model of a grey... completed down to the texturing of the skin, the biomechanics of muscle-skin interaction etc... It's truly amazing what can be done with fully rendered computer models

The beauty of it were the imperfections on the grey's skin and skeleton that made it look so realistic.

That's what they do in that industry. Remember Gollum from the Lord of the rings Trilogy? He was CGI!

They have fantastic tools to do this sort of work... Alias/Wavefront, Maya, Renderman etc... It's gotten to the point that they can fool the human eye into believing that what it is witnessing is real. Remember the scenes from Running Man when they recreated Arnolds character in the movie and broadcast it over TV to fool people into thinking that he did something that he really didn't do? We're not too far from doing that now.

Yes, that's right. And I'm the one who knows about your Reptilian encounters, too. How about it?
Just because you are using "Code" instead of "Quote", you are not invisible. Remember that!

What makes you think, that I'm not doing that?

Sure you aren't... and I'm not either!

Do you actually want to attend a popular TV show with me? I doubt that you would! You don't even dare to check your indigo aura with a specialist, because you are frightened to death. Remember that? I do!

I saw that show about two months ago.It is a rather realistic lookalile of a grey, but i assure you it is unreal.

Besides greys have no agenda of going on national television and showing themselves for afew significants unless there would be some logical significance to it,and i doubt so.

Good documentary by the way,I wonder where you can get them on dvd?

Try the History Channel Store

It's a 3 volume set, with "Cattle Mutilations", "The Grays' Agenda", and "China's Roswell" (about the Dropa Stones).
