A new bill introduced in the Minnesota House last week would prohibit 21-year-olds from drinking at midnight on their birthdays. Individuals would
have to wait until 8 a.m. instead.
Minnesota bill would ban drinking at midnight on 21st birthdays
Ah yes, I knew it would not be long until "power hour" would be out. It turns out that there are a handful of people who are still not mature at
21.
But the only reason I post this is because I tend to believe that there is inherent dishonesty with this bill. (And I know it wouldn't affect anyone
in my state.) They suspend rational thought to bring you this turd pile. This representative of the state of Minnesota thinks that just because they
can delay the time you are actually twenty-one, you aren't going to do something stupid. Don't ya think these kids are gonna bide their time until
the next time and then let it all hang out.
Hopefully, those Representatives vote (hopefully laugh) this one right out the door.
