The first three mass effect games were just games, yes there writers did have political ideology and it did leak into there games but the games were set in a fictional future earth based around fictional technology and a universe full of aliens, plus you could romance those aliens so get revenge for all those poor victims of gray proboid's (probably clandestine government and mind control but I digress since any real alien unlucky enough to look like them will then be associated with the planet uranus for the rest of eternity).

But if you look at the disgusting rip off that EA foisted on us with ME Andromeda than very much everything you say becomes true, the team behind it were even ANTI white, Pro Gay and Abortion as well as creating something that I whom am one of the poor unfortunate saps that paid for it has left a lot of people VERY angry indeed with EA to the point were it has even put us off buying some of there other titles as a consequence though I did bite the bullet and get Jedi Fallen Order a great game but just really Tomb Raider with glow stick's and a less bouncy avatar to play through with.

I think Mass Effect started off as just a great sci-fie game with an interesting story. The last part of Mass Effect 3 just totally blew a lot of it.

You could tell the writing for the final part of Mass Effect 3 was very different from a lot of the rest. So a change in writers happened. And the one/s who finished the story were not really competent story-tellers, or actually at understanding moral issues. For all the choices given were not moral at all.

Never touched Andromeda. By then it was very clear that political SJW agenda was the driving force behind its conception and implementation.

At launch, you could use basically any skin-color but white in character creation. They made them look ugly on purpose. They really butchered the female model used for the template for the female character in Andromeda.





One of the lead designers was openly spewing hatred of white colored people on social media.







And unfortunately, when you hire based on skin-color and sex over talent, skill, and qualifications that's what you get.

A lot of the original Bioware writers and engineers have long since moved on from the politically infested company that is pushing the normal SJW left-wing 3rd-wind feminist, anti-white propaganda that seems to be the norm for the day.

The author is seeking to challenge your views and offers you options on how you'll respond.

I played the first ME and liked it a lot despite it's flaws.

I have played all 3. 1 and 2 were great, the start of 3 was great but the ending was craptastic because no matter what ending you picked, you are just a different flavor of space Jesus and all end in tears. There was some sort of push through all 3 but it wasn't one way or another in my opinion other than paragon (only played paragon). Hated that you needed to shoot Wrex to save him and it didn't say shoot to wound either! Also didn't like how you can choose to hate the sterilization yet save the data results in the death of Mordin. I hope that one day if A.I. ever does start making movies and games, it remains unbiased.

I enjoyed the whole Mass effect game series including Andromeda 👍

Gears of wars series
Destiny series, Mass Effect it is still a favorite.

It does have different endings as if the artificial intelligence associated is monitoring for behavior decision making 🤔

The concept of the reapers coming around every few eons or (50,000) years to recycle the advanced species present why leaving
un-advanced species alone is the drive behind the game, as you established connections-allies with various alien groups threatened by the reapers presence to fight off the reapers.
The reapers are designed to prevent big wars between synthetic and non synthetic life by eliminating the advanced species before they can reap destruction upon the Galaxy they dominate.
ME 3 ending and reapers explained. Very interesting game.

I guess it would help in a way if some were watching to evaluate those playing it to determine which humans or aliens would be compatible with such a coalition.

To add I don't think many who complete the games go through all the planetary missions that...build up the artificial intelligence responses and or endings.

Heres something. ME3 Renegade ending is the Only True ending That shepard would make. Destroying the reapers and killing off all Inorganic life. I chose all 3 endings on all my characters. the Synthesis ending was created for the EDI ,GETH, lovers and totally goes against Shepards character in the first 2 games. Edi understood that for the good of the galaxy she had no problem sacrificing herself for joker to live. You think Shep and edi woudnt have had that conversation?

Also the end of renegade sheps seen gasping back to life a split second,and that would allow her return.

While I tend to think this is just a game, you raise a pretty interesting point I hadn’t thought about.

Looking at it from the perspective of your point, you can get a pretty good read on the mentality of the younger generation in particular based on the video games that are most popular. Why? It’s fantasy and entirely voluntary - you wouldn’t typically choose to spend your free time on something you hate or don’t enjoy...

If you back test this... the best selling game franchise over the last 25 years in aggregate is “Call of Duty”.

Perhaps this is reflective of the snowflake/safe space world our youth is being brought up in - FPS games no longer hold the excitement factor they did with the previous gaming generations of the last 25 years.

This makes me think top selling video games tell you where the youth of the day is at in terms of things they fantasize about or enjoy - not so much a means to shape their views of the world.
