I'm saying that even before Biden announced his candidacy he was the front runner and Trump's biggest threat.

And while I agree what the DNC is shady, in all honesty they were smarter how they went about things. First off, it wasn't Hillary that hired Fusion. Hell, it wasn't even the DNC. It was a law firm hired by the DNC.

Meanwhile, Trump has, allegedly, used the power of the Presidency in an attempt to suppress a political rival.

Only if you'll likewise concede that the very same people running the show trial now have been swearing on Twiiter and other places that they were going to impeach the president since he was elected, so they look equally biased on that end of things.

What's your point ?

Solomon's reporting was so blindingly bias that even The Hill fired him because he couldn't be impartial.

He's different than CNN or MSNBC or the DAILY BEAST how?

Oh wow! My bad! Not being sarcastic.

I think I conflated the recent development that The Hill are reviewing Solomon's articles and fixing them, with the article that came out around the time he left that was about all the issues his coworkers had with him, and assumed he was fired.

I do apologize for my mistake. Completely disregard my previous post.

By asking Zelensky to talk to the US AG.

Geezus.

What nonsense.

Even though I was wrong about Solomon's departure from The Hill, I've got to call you out on this. You just said that Solomon is being attacked because he tells the truth. Now you're saying he's no different than media outlets that you claim lie all the time?

So when you say that he's being attacked for telling the truth, what you actually mean is that he's being attacked for stating a narrative you like.

How do you figure?

I never read any of his stuff.

But I did read a Democrat impeachment report that clearly targeted the guy.

A political rival that was embedded in a situation that at best was a potential conflict of interest, and at worst a case of extorting a foreign government for his own benefit and that of his family.

So, are you saying that in this situation, the president has no recourse to ask that foreign government to clear up this perception via an internal investigation of corruption of a potential suspect just because he could be a political rival?

Really?

So, to avoid any investigations by a sitting president, a political rival just needs to get involved in a sketchy foreign dealing and he will be free from any investigations?

Wow...just.....wow.

Here's a Article about Ukrainian election meddling by someone NOT named Solomon.

www.politico.com...

Where's these guys phone records?

Ukrainian government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office. They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers, a Politico investigation found.

But Trump abused his power and what the eff ever narrative.

Except Trump didn't ask for an investigation. All he wanted was an announcement of an investigation on American media.

If Trump actually cared about corruption why didn't he make these demands earlier in his Presidency? Why did he wait until a time when he knew Biden would be his biggest rival?

And that's before we get into our bigger issues of corruption that Trump ignores. Let's not forget all those people named in the Panama Papers.

Let me answer these questions in order:

1. Except Trump didn't ask for an investigation.
Yes, he did in the July 25th call that has generated so much of the kerfuffle, right?

2. All he wanted was an announcement of an investigation on American media.
When the media daily attacks him, is it no wonder he wanted them to overtly make the statement to the media on the investigation? Otherwise, do you honestly think the MSM would cover it on their own?

3. If Trump actually cared about corruption why didn't he make these demands earlier in his Presidency?
Could it be this information was secondary to defending himself against the hoax known as the Mueller investigation that found no collusion? In addition, he was working to get the wall built, negotiating new tariffs and other important deals for the benefit of America and Americans?

wow
why do you need to see the warrant?

mkay
so then spying on your political opponent is now fair game?

the days we live in

What will a warrant tell you? How familiar are you with criminal law? Could you tell on what grounds a search might be deemed illegal under law and which laws apply?

If you aren't a lawyer, asking to see a warrant is a little like asking to see the proof of the C parameter in this paper: link.springer.com... (in other words, the non-specialist reader can't tell if it's valid or not.)

In this age of noise and division, if you really want to see the warrant and if it's legal, contact a real lawyer (like the youtube channel, Legal Eagles) and ask them for an opinion.

Don't rely on an ATS member's ability to tell if it's legal or not... that was my point.

so if we question it's legality with a lawyer, and see if attorney client privilege was breached, that's cool with you, right? I think that was the point. Most folks wouldn't know how to subnet multiple segments of a network, but they still use PC's.

oh boy

www.cnn.com...
I guess a favor isnt asking for an investigation?

I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike... I guess you have one of your wealthy people... The server, they say Ukraine has it.

and then
find out about that never means an investigation right?
if you could look into it doesnt mean investigate right?

The other thing, There's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it... It sounds horrible to me.

all he asked (not demanded or ordered or threatned) for was investigation into corruption in the Ukraine

They say turnabout is fair play.

Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) has sent Lindsey Graham a letter asking him to subpoena the phone records of Adam Schiff, Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and the attorney for the Ukraine whistleblower (Mark Zaid).

Politicians HAD been operating under the idea that they could do what they liked and that power and money protected them. They are beginning to see that this is no longer true.

I'm hoping to see this become truth.

I'm hoping to see the system work as it was meant to.

Then stop keeping the same Democrats in office for decades.

Biden was/is not even a presidential nominee. he is thinking about running does not make him a rival, opponent or anything other than a possible corrupt American politician that should be checked out. The FBI coup secret soldiers should be tried for treason. Nothing shadier than bias agents selecting who gets properly investigated and prosecuted.

There is indication that President ''X'' has solicited a foreign nation to dig up dirt on a political rival. Should we look into that possiblity or just ask President ''X'' if it is true or not?

There is indication that a loyal congressional teammate of President ''X'' has also worked to dig up dirt on a political rival of his boss, President ''X''. Should we look into that possibility or just ask President ''X'' and his crony if it is true or not?

Sounds like what Teddy K did with Regan and Russia asking for dirt on Regan. Pot calling the kettle black so to say.

Sure.

Knock yourself out.

You will then have to explain why the President's own lawyer, head of his own large law firm, one of the highest paid lawyers in the country, a former assistant Attorney General for the US... who has been practicing law since 1968 and who has had thousands of cases involving search warrants... can't figure out if this latest search warrant is legal or not.

And when you figure out why a lawyer of his experience is wrong, I think it is very urgent for you to explain this to Trump.
