Just to point out the great gravy wars weren’t about which gravy was best.. it was about allowing folks the free will of choosing the gravy of their choice without being nitpicked. Somehow I feel this won’t be made clear to the reader in this great story and like so many other historical accounts it will be lost in false accounts of the reasons for the war.

Life doesn’t change much on the recounting of actual facts regarding war.. so much is subjective 😜

Cute angels by the way. 😊

I thought that was a very nice touch also.

I have Operation Mindcrime to thank for creating the great graphic for me! He created exactly what I requested.

It’s all right there in The Lord’s Prayer, the canned gravy clause for while giving thanks before the meal.

Lead us not into Temptation but deliver us from Evil
Forgive us for our Trespasses as we forgive those that Trespass against us.

You have to ask yourself, are you an American or an American't?

I may be a little thick sometimes, but even I can see how you are savouring these jokes.

They're over the top!

I'm not trying to be all salty over this, and to be clear I'm not so angry that I'm brothing at the mouth.

I like a good old-fashioned roast as much as the next guy - my only beef is with people who really ham it up and don't know when to quit dishing it out.

Call me a turkey if you like, but I for one agree with Sheye.

You will roux this day.

In jars also.. my preferred “ canned” gravy base www.williams-sonoma.com...
And there’s even a vegetarian one.
And I’ve also tried the “canned” chestnuts for stuffing. Williams Sonoma had a cooking workshop for it right in their mall store.

Well they are, so technically they can get away with calling it pumpkin but it’s sort of a white lie when they are using other types of squash. Feel better now?

I was not upset in the first place; it was an honest question.

Haven't actually had a slice of pumpkin pie in a long while. Not surprised some folks would dilute it with cheaper squashes, though. Almighty dollar and all.

I was going to mention that canned or from scratch, that gravy is going to have a pretty thick skin by now.

I'm sick of this, being unfairly tried and convicted in some kangaroux court just because I missed the gravy train!

Sir OP, I thank you and every one else for days of excellent entertainment.
During my devilish long shifts I have looked forward to yet another up-date on the fate of gravy. A grave matter indeed.

Thank you , one and all.

You’re most welcome WIS 😎. So happy to read my taking up the cause for “freedom of gravy buyers” has brought you some pleasure, though I know it is not because you agree with me.

Or maybe you do ? Do you think people should be allowed to buy gravy without judgement ?
