Who is they, I'm nearly a hermit, I'm not a right winger, they spend most of their time preaching about god, and they have no problem with Capitalism, therefore I have no arguments with them, but I am not one of them.

Do you not realise how money and capitilism keeps us artificialy underdeveloped? Do you know if it wasn't for capitilism we could have clean free power? How many inventions how been baught by corporations and hidden away, so they can keep making money? For example a carboureter was invented in the 50's that would substantialy lower gas usage, but the oil companys saw that as a threat to their profits...
Did WE lose or gain from that little move?

I'll ask this again seeing as no one has answered yet...How do the poor gain from capitilism? Are the poor any better off today?
That saying 'the rich get richer and the poor get poorer' is NOT a myth you know. So how does it help the poor? Other than the bones they are thrown once in awhile?

Why does wanting to make a more fair equal system threaten you so much?

No wealthy or powerful modern nation is either purely socilalsit or capitalist, they are a mix of BOTH. I in no way said that capitalism was a bad thing. You stated that your "little finger" had more compassion for the poor than all the "left" in all the world put together. I gave you a statistical arguement that beat out your "little finger" (not difficult). i also stated that the countries I mentioned might not fit into your label of "right" and "left" Reread my post and try again.

Some of those people started their business collecting trash, while working for someone else.

Yes many of them do get rich----most don’t flaunt their money----because money has been tarnished and millions of people who are rich live in bad neighborhoods, and in middle class neighborhoods, so that no one will suspect that they are wealthy.

Lots of people who look rich are in fact poor, they own more than they are worth---but they like the life style.



As long as they didn't break any laws to become rich-----their being rich is nobodies business but their own-----most----most---most rich people are benefactors, pouring billions of dollars into social programs, both private and public----which helps the needy.

We need more rich not less rich, because there are many in need-----

Money helps the needy-----money creates jobs----money creates opportunities.

No other system has worked better at alleviating poverty than Capitalism----none-----in the thousands of years of human history.

Yet there are those who wish to keep millions in poverty by destroying and bad-mouthing capitalism.



Sheep are equal, cattle are equal----they are taken care of because they are a commodity----to be sold and eaten.

Humans are not animals, you can’t herd them into one group----humans thrive on individuality, on freedom and on reward.

Some people are like cattle they don't need freedom or incentive----feed them and wipe their noses, wipe their butts and they are happy----under capitalism they can live that way with welfare until they die.

Most Americans would prefer to make it on their own. If they fail they can use the welfare system, if they succeed they can be heckled by those in the welfare system.



I was born in poverty and I probably will die in poverty, that's life.

I have crated jobs for others; I have given more than my fair share to charitable organizations-----and plenty to the taxman as well.

If that is a ME world, than so be it.

I have nothing against these countries, other than they, like many Socialist countries and people, wish to curb or stop Capitalism.

You say you are for a mixture of both Socialism and Capitalism, but that is not the stance of most on the left.




I have been to Europe, I'm from Europe, its beautiful and they have marvelous gardens full of roses----only because someone is footing the bill with lots of Capitalist money.

I spend many hours in my garden here in America----I love flowers and nature----that is why I love Capitalism and it byproduct----freedom to do what I want when I want.

Socialism will allow certain freedoms as long as it can afford to do so, as long as it has big daddy Capitalism paying the bills, creating the jobs.



My little finger is a Capitalist finger, Capitalism creates the money that the Socialist have so that they can be generous.

Generosity comes from those that have jobs----jobs come from Capitalism.

No Capitalism----no generosity, it’s that simple.

And bartering is capitalism, exchanging eggs for sugar is no different than using money, money only makes the transaction easier.

Fair enough but I still think pure capitalism or pure socialism is a dangerous thing, a mixture of both has been the most successful path thus far. Dont think the power that big corporations have in controlling our government has gotten way out of hand. Enron, Worldcom, Lobbyists etc. America is becoming more of a plutocracy than a democracy?

America is the country I'm from and the country I love. Still I would change a few things. I'd first want to realize our countries full potential. I'd like a better environmental policy. I'd also like more help for the poor. Don't get me wrong I'm very appreciative of capitalism and its ability to create wealth however I've never been a fan of the trickle down effect. And healthcare for all is my last decree! And to the rest of the world I give the finger.
