PACT Act

Now I would have suspected that those that would boo Trump for curing cancer would be all over this as a ho-hum law that really only goes towards crush videos instead of a broader Animal Cruelty as Federal Level felony. The text itself should have been a no brained and fast tracked in maybe 30 minutes tops. But the incompetency of the House made a law that basically says “don’t crush animals to death” take ten months from introduction to signed into law.

Ridiculous. Maybe if they were not playing Impeachment Hoax every 6-8 weeks sensible laws can be passed along with budgets as they are supposed to be done.

Wellll Mitch McConnell is actually the reason laws aren't being passed in the Senate. There's even imminent danger of election interference in 2020, yet he doesn't want to do anything about election security bills.

Does this mean the left is PRO animal cruelty now?

Of course the federal government doesn't have the constitutional authority to enact bs like this but as far as keeping this non partisan Tom Cotton hasn't done squat either. He did pass a law that would burry dissedent veterans that were not claimed by relatives.

www.govtrack.us...

A bill to amend title 38, United States Code, to authorize the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to furnish caskets and urns for burial in cemeteries of States and tribal organizations of veterans without next of kin or sufficient resources to provide for caskets or urns, and for other purposes.

Plus 2 other bs bills.

When he got elected everyone thought he was the 2nd coming.

So I guess running over an animal on the road won't get you 7 years in prison as long as there isn't any video evidence of it.

This is BY FAR the best thing 45 has signed into law.

An accident is an accident, tripping over a footstool and going knee first into a puppy happens. This is for the sickos that do that on purpose. And is far kinder than what I would do to such people if allowed to do so, as a bullet would also be too kind in my book.

Schiff has been kicking puppies and rubbing kittens the wrong way all weekend given the general disinterest in his impeachment party, I would guess.

This is almost like the firearms issue for me. This law isn't a good thing. It's bad because it speaks to how utterly broken we are as a species that a law like this even needs to exist. It is literally a trait of psychopathy to intentionally harm or kill defenseless animals and now we are at a point in our society that we have to pass laws in the futile hope of dissuading people from doing it and making videos about it to share with apparently a wide ranging audience looking for such content.

Get me off this rock.

Surely you're not serious? So, by your logic; burying your head in the sand and pretending a problem doesn't exist is better than taking steps to preventing the issue? People are messed up creatures, laws need to be in place to ensure this behaviour is punishable. no laws = no punishment.

No, it doesn't work like that.

If someone you don't like doesn't kill anyone, does that automatically make you a murderer?

The bill still doesn't go far enough!

Now they have the opportunity to review this and waste time and tax payer money to revise it (different crushing scenarios/environments specie involved). Whatever you do, do not vote (instead) on something important: USMCA. Smite the lawyer that indulges in superfluous litigation as your ilk is ruining this country.

This is about crush porn. Some people get off watching kittens or puppies stomped to death by barefooted women.

Yeah, the Dems seemed to be trying to dethrone Trump so much that he couldn't get lots of things passed. That was their intent I think, make it look like he did not get anything accomplished. It does not take a rocket scientist to see what they are doing. Look at all the harassment Trump has gone through in the last three years. The majority of what the News and Dems have thrown at him is BS. The Dem supporters can't even see the good he has done and the Republicans are witnessing so much unfounded bashing they do not believe that trump actually has made some mistakes. It does not have to be "you are either with us or against us" That philosophy comes from the bible yet so many athiests and far right liberals use it on a daily basis. So does the hard right though. Usually the religious ones though. I know some far left and none of the ones I know want anything to do with Christianity, in fact they oppose it. They oppose all religions, but work other religions to take a stance against christianity. I do not know if all hard left are like that, only the ones that I know personally.

My point exactly. Should be a federal felony for intentional injury/death. Citizen’s Arrests would become a whole lot more interesting for those certain neighbors that run amok in their meth fulled frenzies. Especially in states that allow lethal force to stop fleeing felons.

One day...

Unfortunately yes, it is somewhat a thing. I remember 10+ years ago hearing of a video where a woman would step on a cat's head with her high heels until, well, bad things happened. I can't find the link about it, but I believe the people of 4chan actually found out the ladies identity and got her in trouble. I think she was in China, I don't remember.

I've been watching a lot of youtube lately since I've got nothing else to do on my lunch breaks, and I came across some videos by Jeremy from the Quarterting talking about someone named "Cat Maniac". I tried watching one of the videos and found out about another person out there torturing cats and putting the videos on youtube.

knowyourmeme.com...

Every time the page would get taken down, another would just pop up in it's place with the same and/or new videos. Some people are just messed up in the head.

Mitch only cares about judges which he should. Judges are the thing. They control everything. If Ruth dies the court is now stacked for over a decade. Good luck passing anything unconstitutional. Ain't gonna happen.
