She passed Christmas 2018, she is in a much better place now no physical pain 24/7.

First, good luck OP. Pains a bitch, I know.

So, all these horror stories of Gabapentin. Huh. I'm taking two 400 and one 600 at night to manage the pain in my foot(blood clots and now it's almost useless) and have no problem with the drug. It doesn't do a lot but it does help with some of the pain. I don't want anything that will mess me up, get hooked on, blah blah blah so I'm just sticking with this.

Go figure.
