Probably the largest cost in these big guns is the barrel. I have seen how they're made. It is not a simple process for a sniper quality action that can take that kind of use either. Early on they will be paying back the experts who designed this technology. If they got investors they need to be paid and of course, the government and the corrupt politicians in every country they want to do business with will all want their piece of the pie.

The only way to make these and sell them at the price point you suggest is a hard path, to say the least.

It is very nicely built but it is even larger overall than the Russian Snipex Trex.
